The guy scalping isn’t as bad as the website just breaking and the owner saying that they’ll be raising prices after X amount are sold.

Crazy what hardware launches are like now.

I’ll hold on to my 3080 until I can buy one at RRP easily and after todays experience it won’t be at OCUK.
 
My order is also showing undefined. I'm guessing it will be cancelled at some point. Hopefully I can grab on in the batch released later on tonight. I actually got to the payment screen about 6 times but it would not complete.

No its not.
only using bots / automated software buying with multiple identities.

buying it yourself and selling it higher is just being a pure dick and 100% legal.

If it was illegal then OCUK would have committed offenses themselves buying for a price and selling for higher.

Agreed. I won't be buying one above MSRP. Guess I'll wait another generation :cry:
 
Well... managed to get one Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT into my basket at 14:02 this afternoon, and straight to checkout - but just circling arrow after that for about 10 minutes - then 'Gateway Error'. I'm really p****d - had to go for hospital appointment, kept my phone browser on, but nothing :(

Came home, Pulse showing in stock on website - put it into basket - then nothing... No checkout button. Went back to product page - still showing 'In Stock' (green). Repeated process - showing 'Out of Stock' on basket page... :confused:

you assume that they didn't use a bot.

OCUK are a retailer.
scalpers are individuals trying to make a quick buck by scamming other people.
there's a difference
