I couldn't get a Pulse, I got to confirming payment twice then get told it was OOS.

I did get a Reaper though, which is a proper MSRP card - basic as you like. Those who got a Pulse at £569 got a better deal IMO.

Sadly, even at £629, the bots will descend on each drop like a plague of locusts.

Part of my frustration with the CC approval process is that we have two cards on the same account so the 2FA system has to ask which card holder to seek approval from, adding a short step in the process. Arguably "self-inflicted" but I'm not about to disable 2FA on a credit card with the limit that this one has....

Also didn't want to say (as feared backlash), but some here were suggesting using PayPal (rather than CC) for faster load times. I don't think most have realised that by doing this, they've lost their section 75 protection

PayPal has it's own buyer protection for goods no? Also you have distance selling regs I guess too once you receive the card.

It does, but not as good as Section 75. Section 75 is a legal right

I placed an order for an XFX variant with a competitor but I'm not holding my breath. no dispatch email yet or anything despite it was in stock when I ordered. Had a few hiccups with payments as well.

I managed to got a Steel Legend - probably not my 1st choice, but I thought it might have less demand than the others.
Looking at my receipt this morning, it's defaulted to a DPD pickup point despite also saying it will be posted to my home address. who knows.

No problem at all. Next day delivery is the standard option, which is the quickest as you don't need to select anything. If you have order conformation then its all gone through and card will turn up on Saturday, which is likely the earliest most would have got as next day ended at 3pm and the site was down most of the hour before that

Same here. Don’t really want it delivered during the week as I’m in work and our DPD collection point is a bit hit and miss.

I hope not. I’m expecting it to arrive tomorrow. The checkout said that if you want it delivered this Saturday to select Saturday delivery and checkout in the specified time.

Last night it happened so fast that I couldn't even change delivery details, just clicked through everything till PAY NOW

To be honest, I wish there was a different way to purchase new cards, first time this happened to me was when 30xx nvidias cards came out and then now.
