OcUK GUIDE TO ORDERING YOUR AMD 9070 GRAPHICS CARD TODAY AT 14:00

The Sapphire Pulse (9070) is listed as in stock, but when you click on it, you can then see that it's out of stock.
I wonder why the system takes so long to update sometimes?

My DPD status is still awaiting the parcel too. I'm hoping they've got it but it's going to take a while to scan them all at the distribution centre. I went for Saturday delivery so fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Mine is still "picking" though I got the tracking ref earlier in the day and its still pending.
Opened a ticket as I have 0 expectation that its gone out and will arrive tomorrow. Might as well have it as a weekday delivery now I suppose!

It's a big fault for their website, or it might be intentional to get clicks.

The individual page for each GPU series seems to take ages to update once something goes out of stock. Almost like it has to be done manually or something.

Now saying limited stock - if they end up canceling my order from yesterday due to them selling out I'm going to be a bit annoyed - these never went out of stock the whole time and my order will soon have been "confirmed" for 24hours......
I get the mad rush and the website having problems, but not being able to even update the order much lest ship in 24 hours seems a bit much - and of course no reply to the ticket I put in and no working phone line, it's all very frustrating.

Im sure you will get it. That is the non XT model. Not that popular.

I just don't get it.

Its not a good card at all for that money.

The only reason it was a good release was the MSRP. If people are paying close to £800 i dont understand why they didnt buy a 7900xtx, 4070ti super or 4080 last year.
Well, some people spend £1400 on a 5080. It’s like saying why didn’t you buy a 4090 last year. Prices move on and no one can tell anyone what they can or can’t spend their money on. Prices are only going one way. As long as NVIDIA and AMD have to prioritise corporate and government clients with AI chips we will be feeding on expensive scraps of whatever is left from the AI waver production.

One of the reasons for choosing it - I thought it might be less likley to vanish.
The sapphire Pulse non XT at £539 were in and out all night - not an OC model, not white etc- but it actually looks like it's both cheaper and ironically there are now more of them.
I think as more reviews come out and the "standard" price for an XT settles above £600 I think the OC non XT's might prove very popular.
You would think me having it confirmed all that time would make it safe, but I just don't know.
Edit - I had a link to the Saphire - but it just went out of stock again when you click on it (though main page shows it as in stock) - :p

Because they did not need a card last year.? If the GPU is the only thing that they are short in completing a system they might feel compromised to make a choice that they too are not happy with.?

Hype train is mightily persuasive.

Ifs and buts, but there is a lot of that. See, there's another one. Lol.
