OcUK GUIDE TO ORDERING YOUR AMD 9070 GRAPHICS CARD TODAY AT 14:00

Seems to me the most open/honest approach would be to set the MSRP at actual expected price without discount

Then have early adopter promotion/discount

Otherwise all reviews are effectively wrong /incorrect as can't be trusted when comparing performance vs price

Just had a text from DPD saying the package will be delivered today at 0922-1022

This is just with normal postage selected so one of two things have happened they have bumped me up to saturday for free or because its local to the depot they are getting them out the door
woop same 14:05 & 15:05 today

These cards look long. Trying to see which one if any is likely to fit in a mini itx board and case. It's gonna be tight if doable.
The reaper is below 30 cm and only 2 slots which seems the most suitable for itx as far as I can tell. The steel legend is also around the same length but it’s 2.9 slots, and the gigabyte gaming oc is also a similar length and takes up 2.7 slots. I went with the reaper for my itx build.

I ordered mine at 20:38 Thursday evening and got the order confirmation email a couple of hours later, at 22:33.

It still says order confirmed in under my account and I've not heard anything since.

I ordered the Pulse 9070.

I just have order confirmed from 22.16 on Thursday!! Feel a bit left behind
Same here, I ordered at 20:38 & got confirmation email at 22.38 but it still says order confirmed.

I have an order number and everything, I hope everything is good.

But the reviews are against the MSRP so that doesn't add up.
True but then what choice do they have, it's not like reviewers can't or shouldn't take price into account. There'd be no way to asses the value and they can't wait an indefinite amount of time until they know the street price.

I haven't seen a single review for any of the cards that doesn't add a massive caveat regarding MSRP.

At the end of the day people are just going to have think for themselves at some point. The performance data is out there, the pricing and availability is what it is.

Mine has arrived already this morning! Even though the site says picking, and DPD never acknowledged receiving! Well thats.. interesting but Im glad its here!

Ordered my reaper at 11:13 yesterday, no movement on order status.
Oh well, gives me a few more days to return it if the 5080 drops close to MSRP, many stock alerts today.
