Congratulations! Enjoy

Finally got a 27 inch oled 240hz, a slight upgrade from 60hz lol. It’s only 1440p but wow have I been missing out stuck on a IPS screen for all these years!
Yeah oled really hits different enjoy 1440p was my fave for a long time before 4k and gives you so many more gpu options. 60 to 240 thats a bit of a jump

The thing I'm waiting for is a 42inch 4k 240hz OLED monitor/TV. The moment one of those comes out (and I pray they do) I'm gonna buy it as fast as I can lol

I thought I was the only one in the world waiting for this! This is why I am stuck with the Asus PG42UQ monitor as it is the only 42 inch 4k OLED on the market but it is capped at 138hZ

Yeah, it's annoying as no manufacturer wants to do it, and the TVs don't really go down to 42inch other than the 120/144hz WOLEDs. And the monitors cap at 32inch. I think our best bet is when LG might release something at some point

I would buy it so fast!

New G5 Oled is doing 4k 165Hz, few more years till we get to 4k 240hz tv panels but they will be coming eventually.

So there is a new LG coming out that was announced at CES, the 45GX990A, a 45 inch bendable 21:9 5k2k monitor that supposedly does 165hz at 5k2k but it does 330hz at WFHD, and has MLA+. Which is kinda convenient as if you run it at 16:9 4k it's essentially equivalent to a 42inch G4 with black bars on the left/side, still not sure what refresh rate it'd be, whether stuck to 165hz or higher at 200+ at 4k. I'm tempted but still it has compromises unfortunately. At least we know the tech is getting better and better like you've said.

Currently 4th on Timespy (Single GPU), once I figure how to get past the voltage slider bug and go past 2000 on the ram, this card looks promising.

There is a update for msi afterburner which allows the memory to get to 3000 alternatively use GPU Tweak 3 and enabled extended overclocking feature and will allow you to get to +6000 / +3000ab . The voltage bug is fixed with the must recent hotfix driver 572.75 but you do lose a bit of performance on that driver, best for benchmarking is 572.47 but need to use the work around I posted on Overclock.net to get voltage working...

Ran Cyberpunk at my preferred settings vs my old 4090. 4K with Path and Ray tracing enabled.

4090 was watercooled with XOC bios (used about 650W during the run). +2000 on the Vram and 3135 mhz core
5090 on air with +3000 on the vram and 3050 ish on the core. 600W.

About a 28% improvement.
