At least getting in early on the 9070XT will buy you a few years before FOMO kicks in again. Even if there was an uprated model of the 9000 series I won't care but when UDMA comes around in 2027 I will likely start being interested again.

It's even less sensible when you look at the relative prices of the sapphire models, and sapphire to me are one of the big 3 AMD GPU partners along with XFX and Powercolor.

If you're going to demand a price premium at least be top of the class...

Other half is rolling eyes at my new purchase and wondered what was wrong with the old one….. said this one is white and with lights- response was ah worth the upgrade then. I think I will try to run this one into the ground and resist the FOMO tbh.

I think FSR 4 will be a bit of a game changer. Really changed my tune on decent upscalers, to be fair I can see where @TNA and @Grim5 were coming from now. Still not that arsed about RT though.

Nice card the Steel Legend, seen some pics of it. Ordered the Nitro+ now but I think if I had known how nice that card looked I would have purchased it

Yours looks more premium all metal and you have the RGB light bar which is understated and classy.

Also you can push 350w on yours so getting close to a 5080..

Think I'm joking? Here's a snippet from today's press release by ASUS:

ASUS executives have warned investors that consumers may face higher prices later this year as the company accelerates its manufacturing exodus from China in response to anticipated US tariff policies. Despite efforts to absorb costs internally, ASUS acknowledged during its recent earnings call that production relocation expenses could eventually impact retail pricing.
