The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

What Adrenalin settings if any are people using with these cards? Should i just stick it on performance and forget about it?

I just use the efficency option in the AMD software. Seems more stable than say -100 mv. That works in benchmarks but crashes in some games.

Officially joining the club, or do I ebay it? ;p

starting to think it wasnt a wise idea going back to AMD, constant sound drop outs in game, games are stutterfest, constant driver crashes at stock, no oc or uv, never had none of this with the clowns in green, spend half my gaming time on google looking for solutions, hmm

Saw this in the rumour thread: https://www.pcgamer.com/hardware/gr...rease-in-cooling-capacity-or-product-failure/

Check your cards, I don't remember seeing this on mine but I don't remember removing anything. I'll double check later.
Thanks yeah, not on mine either.

A really cool card actually (9070 Pulse).

Speaking of which, I seem to be getting a GPU boost clock of 2750Mhz instead of just over 2500.

Both GPU-Z and hwinfo report the same.

E: Since then GPU-Z has reported near 2900 and hwinfo just over 3000. Not sure what's going on, whether that's actually happening or if it's just a reporting issue.

Memory stats and total power draw seem spot on so, hm, maybe it's just free powah :)

I picked up a Sapphire 9070 Nitro+ on release day and I'm very happy with it. I originally had the Gigabyte 9070 XT OC in the basket for £569 on Overclockers when the site went down and it was gone by the time I got back on, so ended up getting the Sapphire for £600 instead. Wasn't too happy about that, nor with the delayed delivery, but it worked out for the best as I definitely won the silicon lottery. My card is the one currently sitting top of all the graphics benchmarks in 3D Mark among 9070s; apart from Speed Way, which I don't own.

Using GPU Tweak, I found with -148mV, 110% power, +104MHz on the clock and memory at 5584MHz the card is mostly stable and can almost hit 3.2GHz. Stable enough to handle all the 3D Mark tests bar Steel Nomad, which I had to dial things back a bit for. The Time Spy Extreme graphics test score puts my card in the top 50 on the 5070Ti list, not bad for being a couple of hundred pounds cheaper. Not to mention actually being in stock, although I note Overclockers have put the price up on this card by £30 since last week.

My only real complaint about the card is the power draw when the system's idle and sat at the desktop. The RTX 3070 it replaced drew around 15w, while this 9070 draws around 40w. Other than that though I really couldn't be happier; it's incredibly quick, very quiet and I've had zero problems in games.

i was having issues, and i just reformatted my pc to get rid of any nvidia trace, works fine now

yep even though used ddu seems like i still getting issues, trying to avoid a full reset again, must be on my 3rd this yr:cry:
i tried ddu didnt work, the same game wouldnt run through steam or xbox app.. so new it was driver related.. and steam and xbox can resync the gamne files anyway so doesnt take that long

Free power id say. These cards do appear to boost above the manufacturer listed speeds. They always list the minimum they'll achieve but it's still more power.

Do you have a spare disk or USB drive. Trying installing windows onto that. Do you have any errors in event viewer.
Also try bios update / chipset drivers update / Running furmark for no longer than 15 mins.
