Won’t lie, I got slightly tempted but that is well over a grand more than the pre order I currently have at the pre order place.

This whole thing is so weird. Why on earth would they do a launch with no stock and still have no stock weeks later and for the foreseeable future. It makes no sense. I can’t believe that they’re restricting supply to this extent just to keep the prices high.
Retailers want a steady but minimal flow. That would suit the Nordic retailer (and the other trash U.K. ones, we know who they are) very nicely.
Nvidia will not want that, they’ll want to remove AIB pressure and regain market sentiment. They’ll want the opposite, and they’ll want to avoid anymore bad press too.

£1180 or theres abouts, i know thats above RRP but still cheaper than what retailers are charging present day.
And further to that... System integrators are getting scalped as well.
That explains a lot about the prices we're seeing on some stores, as well as the near-complete lack of supply to the queues place.
Nope. The status update said they had a delivery today of Gigabyte Windforce OC. I am in that queue and moved from postion 101 to 97, which means they have received a total of 4 of these cards in 6 weeks
I think nvidia needs to give a apology for how badly all this has gone.
The only thing Nvidia will give you is plenty of porky's.
I think it was actually 3. Somebody on the queue place's discord with a single-figure position number reported moving 3 places, so one of the spots you moved may have been a cancellation.

This is literally what they have done! Their press release ahead of GDC was to claim that the 50 series shipments exceeds all the 40 series at the same time in its lifespan. I haven't tracked numbers from each generation but I'm fairly confident this is complete BS because you could only get a 4090 for the first month IIRC! GN said in their video yesterday that they're doing a whole piece on it after going over the press release.The only thing Nvidia will give you is plenty of porky's.
