The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

Got my new XT Nitro+ fitted.
It's an extremely tidy looking card!

Can't seem to post photos, so link added to imugr.
I keep getting tempted by the Nitro+. Initially it seemed too expensive, but given the price of the formerly-MSRP now it doesn't looks so bad even at £720.

I'm undecided if I like or hate the power connector placement though.

It's perfect for effortlessly hiding cables, making cable management a breeze.

Is it worth spending the extra £80 for a 5070ti for the improved ray tracing, fps, scaling, lower power consumption though?

I dislike that it blocks up a lot of the pass through part of the cooler though, but I guess the card probably runs cool enough anyway.

I've not seen one at that price.
To be fair I do have a Pure on pre-order but I think it's going to be a while and I'm getting impatient.

It does when some of us only paid £569, that's a hell of a lot to justify imo
Yeah, but they're hard to get hold of now?
Do you just not buy something because it's not at the best price it's ever been?

EDIT: Plus I wasn't aware of the Nitro+ ever being available for £569.

Nope I try looking for best price tbf, no nitro wasn't but that's what I'm saying I don't think 150 over MSRP cards when purchased is worth it, but that's my take. Many would disagree.
Aesthetically it is nicer n I love the power cable hide away

My settings are:
-110 UV
2750 mem
10 power limit

I have also put the fan curve to 50% when hitting 60c, not sure if that hekps but thought I'd include :)
Legend, gave me a lovely little bump compared to my initial one! Thank you. I'll tweak a bit further from here to see what else I can eek out.

This 9070 XT Nitro+ is a bit of a beast!! It almost keeps up with my XTX in Timespy.

9070 XT Nitro+
-175mv undervolt
+10% power
No Mem or Core alterations

Timespy:
Overall 30979
GPU 33233
CPU 22381

Timespy Result
Changing Mem to 2700 had little effect.

Overall 31100
GPU 33341
CPU 22522

Will probably revert to stock Mem settings.

Should the Asrock Steel Legend 9070 XT come with an ARGB cable? I have a new build with an Asus Rog Strix B650E-I Mobo and can’t seem to locate a ARGB cable anywhere. Never built a computer before so not sure if that would have been something I should have bought separately or if I’m just misplacing it. If I need to buy one separately I guess I’ll order one of those sometime later as well…
