It should still be capable of more that what he's currently getting.thats one of the lower end card with lower power limit its recomander game clock is only 2000mhz
if you have it in budget, return it and get a better one, i know my card will do 3100mhz in game, thats a big differance
- GPU: Boost Clock: Up to 2520 MHz
- GPU: Game Clock: Up to 2070 MHz
My Sapphire Pulse 9070 has +10% PL and it works, goes from 220W to 242W.Do some base models have locked core and power limits? Just tweaking a Pulse 9070 XT and the power limit goes up to +10% but it doesn't do anything. Sames goes for the core clocks. The sliders only do anything when turning the values negative.
I'm not 100% sure how it works but it does let me select DLAA as native in Alan Wake 2 and it's just as stable with no artifacts, but I'm not sure if it is actually still upscaling or not.Optiscaler is only worth it for games where you don't use native, and you then scale up to monitor native?
Ah okay, thanks for clearing it up. I'll have to give it another go later on.@jklc The max frequency is an offset and only changes the potential upper limit if all other factors allow. So you won't see it do anything if you whack it to +1000.
I have the 9070XT Pulse too. If I put the pwr limit to +10% I get 100Mhz more on the core speed.
If I set the voltage to -150mV I get 300Mhz more core speed.
This is just an example of what happens for me when running Hellblade 1.

Install the relevant software from the GPU maker, they generally include software to turn-off your RGB.How to disable LED on my pure without using the ARGB cable? Just unplug the cable on the board?
Do you have to keep it installed and running in the background or can you install it, turn of the RGB/LED and then uninstall it?Install the relevant software from the GPU maker, they generally include software to turn-off your RGB.
For example, Sapphire has Trixx and MSI has Dragon software. You can use it to turn off the RGB. I also believe you can keep it off essentially forever if you like.
Hopefully, that solves your issue.
I leave it inactive, once set (Trixx). However, you may have to test the software and see if the change sticks. But, its free software and negates the use of a cable fitting to your motherboard, eh.Do you have to keep it installed and running in the background or can you install it, turn of the RGB/LED and then uninstall it?
Yeah, but I'll already have Adrenaline and Afterburner running, I don't really want TRIXX as well.I leave it inactive, once set (Trixx). However, you may have to test the software and see if the change sticks. But, its free software and negates the use of a cable fitting to your motherboard, eh.
I'm still not sure I like the use of the new cable and the positioning and all that, but it does give a clean look not having power connectors on this side of the card.Installed my nitro+ today. Happy with it as an upgrade from 3080 10gb.
