The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

I'll find some.. The CPU is cooled by an Arctic Freezer 2 240 with the offset plate so cant see how that is not enough. Ofcourse something could have happened/shifted causing higher temps. In any case, I'll take a look. Cheers.

EDIT: CPU seems fine according to temp readouts unless I'm missing something. It's either driver or windows hassling me. I'm currently thinking the later.

Sorry, I meant load, not temperature. Your screenshot shows 48% CPU load. That might be the point at which, as far as Helldivers 2 is concerned, it is using as much CPU as it can.

I see. Doesn't explain the 99th% though. It would explain the 90%ish GPU utilization. To make matters worse, it seems a lot of people are having issues with helldivers 2 so no point in wasting hours on it as it could also just be a game issue. WTFK :P

Guys your experience with Sapphire Pulse 9070, overclocking and undervolting?
Is that card limited to 240Watts?
What in game gpu clocks do you have?

I do. I run mine with a -100mV voltage offset and +10% PL and get great results, it frequently boosts to ~3000MHz in games.

Joined the club - managed to install my 9070 XT Nitro this evening. Haven't had any time to play yet - looking forward to it though! Build quality feels amazing, and love the fact that the cables are hidden.

@CAT-THE-FIFTH If you can add me to the list please. Details as follows:

Card: SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU
Date received: Monday 17 March 2025

Have you guys tried out optiscaler yet? I've just been messing around with it in SH2 and it works pretty well, certainly an improvement on some of the poorer implementations of FSR 3 (and FSR2, I have no idea why that is still in AAA games in 2025)

Is your relive recording all working ok? I click record and nothing happens apart from a 1kb .mp4 file created in the video directory that cannot be played. Weird!!!
For me it recorded fine I think, but it has a weirdly high impact on performance by enabling instant replay (like ~10% FPS loss), so I turned it off. It may be a driver issue that didn't get caught by DDU or something because I didn't reinstall windows when I switched from nvidia, but other people may like to check for themselves. Enabling the equivalent xbox game bar feature has practically 0 performance cost so if I want to record something I'll just use that, too lazy to try and troubleshoot something I very rarely use when everything else is fine.

I have used it on a few games and it's really good,a huge improvement over FSR3

For sure, I hope we get mass implementation of FSR4 in games sooner rather than later, maybe they'll be more compelled to push it out sooner considering the huge success of the 9000 series.

I wish they would have made it like XeSS where you could just replace the lib files and hey presto you're now running 1.3 or whatever. Idk, maybe that wasn't an option but OptiScaler works great for now.

They have done that for FSR3.1.
