Yeah I think theyre the more sought after cards. There's also less of those cards, especially 90s.
I have had one in my basket for checkout a couple of times but never went through with it. Not interested in the Palit, just trying to see if it could be purchased.
Hopefully those sellers will run out of suckers sooner rather than later. Having said that, a three letter retailer is still selling them for £2750. Crazy...

At just over £2100 it’s the most reasonably priced card after the FE that I’ve seen.
Could have grabbed one twice last night but my prebuilt is still in a queue, currently at 43, so holding out to be in the right place at a the right time and snatch a FE hopefully.

I'm not sure you could have. I've had one in my basket several times too, but then go to buy (literally in 1 second) and it's gone. Nothing wrong the the Palit (apart from it looking like a candy-colored nightmare). From the two reviews I've seen thermals are a bit better than FE, and it OCs about the same. Definitely not as cool as higher-end AIB models, but ok.
Well thankfully my new build doesn’t even have a window on the case as I’ve gone for a quiet build this time.
Probably right about the checkout but I did get as far as that the first attempt and it was still showing as available via the rain forest.
Stock situation for the 5xxx series seems to be getting much better. Loads of stock sticking around now. Still terrible prices, but now they are in stock at most retailers, scalping will be pretty much done as there won't be much money to make.
Seen a 5070 ti available for RRP too.
Hopefully by late spring/early summer they start to meet RRP regularly

I think it's just the inferior cooling and the lots of plastic. I personally, would like a bit of premium and very good cooling for the money I'm spending. So it's similar to the FE in performance but worse build quality and even at the more reasonable £2150ish, still £250 more than the FE...
I woke up this morning to see that my 5090 has arrived at my local DPD depot, which is only about 2 miles away.
The groundwork was laid and I'm now officially diseased. The wife and toddler will be going to the in-laws on their own.
EDIT: Literally 4 seconds after posting this, DPD have just text saying that it will be delivered between 8:17 - 9:17 am this morning.
Same here but my delivery is 14:30 - 15:30 which I’ll miss so it’ll be tomorrow or Monday before I get it.

Pretty happy with my Palit. It looks quite nice in hand and looks good from the side in the case. Most importantly it has no coil whine. I have it on an undervolt curve with +2000 on the memory and it matches stock performance.
Also using custom fan curve and it rarely goes over 60deg and its quiet enough not to hear it over my other fans.
I wanted a TUF but I've seen a couple of owners mentioning coil whine.

In my view, if you're going to pay substantially more than the FE, you are going to want it to do at least something substantially better than the FE. Be it cooling, overclocking, built quality, etc, etc.
First full night gaming on my new Auros Xtreme Waterforce and wow! Night and day (obviously) difference over my 3080 at 4k/240Hz. Night and day difference in heat as well 
. Have the radiator mounted to the front blowing out and won't need any heating next winter with that bad boy running. Heated my apartment up from 21c to 24c while I was gaming... I walk by the front of the PC on the way to the fridge to top up on beer and can feel the heat coming through. Card itself doesn't get too hot though, topped out at 64c but typically running under 60c.
Just plugged and played so far though so gonna muck around now with overclocking and fan curves etc.
