** Kingdom Come : Deliverance 2 **

Ah, but have you ridden pebbles for (I can't remember the exact distance) about 35 miles? She gets upgraded to just about the best horse in the game.
You can check your distance ridden in the stats screen.

I should have ridden her more in the early game just to make any races easier :)

Edit: It's 35 KM and the achievement is called "Good Old Pebbles"

Yep, my Pebbles can carry like 600 pounds or something crazy like that.

I want Pebbles back! :(

I only played about 15 minutes or something I can reload a save I suppose.

I am sure I am not far away from 35 miles as I have used Pebbles a lot.

Man, ever since the prologue I was resolved I would romance the blue dress girl Katherine. I am 160 hours deep now, and still nothing! I hope I didn't miss it. Just
conquered Maleshov and got Von Bergow and Rosa.

Also did the tournament, I wish the fights lasted longer, maybe we should fight with wooden swords lol

Are you not entertained!?

Was wondering why my Pebbles was getting compliments in Kuttenburg - I've done an easy 75km already (500km total travelled horse and foot!)

Have only had a fling with one lass at the wedding so far (romanced?), and nothing yet for Katherine either (100hrs in). Speech checks aren't a problem.

Really loved KCD, but struggling to get into this. Eventually waded thru all the cut-scenes and endless dialogue and am in the cottage with the other guy and the old woman who is helping us recover.

Finding the combat harder than I remember, and at the moment the 2 guys who are interrogating the woman when I come back from picking the required herbs are beating my ass.

Dunno now whether I'm trying to recapture a memory of the past with KCD and it's not happening, or its just so different from Stalker2 which is the one I just finished, that I'm having bother adjusting to the different pacing.

I did the quest where you help the German sword master win a tournament last night. But yours seems to be a different one.

Oh and turns out my last horse was not even Pebbles. So Mark is my 3rd horse. Lol.

I looked at stats. I have done almost 90km on horses.

Going to resume main story tonight hopefully.

If you ask me, this game starts off badly. It's a bit too unforgiving for new players, and certainly combat wise it is too difficult (just wait until you meet Master Tomcat to learn masterstrike). Took me a while to get into it too but it does get better and easier. Also there are plenty of mods on Nexus to change any mechanics you don't like. It's worth sticking with it.

Yeah its damn tough at start to not just give up and some missions will make steam come out your ears... but deffo gets better with time though

You are literally still in tutorial prologue. Just like the first game, prologue is linear and takes about 3-4 hours. But you are close to being let out into the world.

I did the quest where you help the German sword master win a tournament last night. But yours seems to be a different one.

After that quest, there will be an optional tournament held every week where you can take part, this is one of those.

I like to hear the NPC convos. Heard a good one recently.

Guard accuses a woman of a crime. Cut a mans dingle off
Woman denies said crime and and points out she wouldn't parade in front of guards if so.
Guard demands to make a search
Woman replies "I'll cut your dingle off if you do"
Guard replies "Carry on"

I still feel like I am around the half way point in the game but I have basically got all the skills I want. There is nothing to put my skill points in to other than things I don't use, like polearms or heavy weapons.

They should have paced it better so that mid and late game there was still points you could spend.

Also another thing that I find frustrating is that all the vendors sell the same stuff. None of which is better than my current gear.

Ok not entirely true I found a few armour pieces in Kuttenburg I could upgrade but their weapons are all the same across all vendors and nothing to buy.

They needed more selection in weapons and armour across different vendors and not just selection but also scaling quality.

Give me weapons and armour that are high level that I can't afford so at least I have something to work towards.

Also maybe hide some nice weapons or weapon schematics in the environment so people can find them and try and craft them as long as they find the rest of the materials too.
