i have the same monitor and case :D have you tried switching the astral to quiet bios then updating the bios to the new quiet bios with better fan curve? its made a huge difference for me and no loss of performance.
Yes on that. Just trying a new uv now.

please share your UV :D how well does your astral OC? mine seems most stable at about 200mhz+ on the core and 1250mhz+ on the memory.
OK. UV seems to be stable the last 2 days. Hovers about 71 °C, fan 45% (1100rpm) which is fine, steady boost about 2750 and 250 fps av in Indy Jones for example, and 220fps in CP. Probably get more, but don't need it. Anyway, Astral LC arriving tomorrow from OCs, so that will sort any noise/temps...;) (since the Suprim LC from the rainforrest is stull pending a date).
0.9v at 2917 (+997, then all the other points raised by the same). Please note I'm new at this and playing with guidence I have seen elsewhere More than happy for members to advise. I have tried higher volts and clocks but crashes game eventually, this hasn't. 2000mhz+ on the memory.

Similar to my FE, but yours is clocked higher out of the box so you can hit a higher clock as Afterburner only allows a max of +1000 on the curve.

I followed this guide:

0.89v at 2827. Boost tends to sit at 2700 when gaming and it never goes above 460w
I've not seen it go above 67c like this even when stress testing

3hrs of Stalker 2 last night and it was only pulling around 260w with temps sat at 55c
And people say that 5090's are not efficient? LOL :D

Finally up and running after CPU and MB both have issues.

White card like the gigabyte ice maybe better for my case but so far quiet and cool while running benchmark. Only issue is that I have issue change the card RGB using MSI center, it won't allow the RGB plug in to install

I haven't opened it, I'm thinking it will add a couple quid extra value when it's time to sell

Maybe you can sell it for more if you have the secret one.

I just open it to have a look, it's now back inside the box.

MSI announced a couple of days ago that if you have the full set you can claim a free 5080 so now maybe the time to sell as people are scrabbling over them
Dunno if they'll be worth much when the offer comes to an end

Lastest 5090 that hopefully I'll settle on, but the FE with EK Waterblock is an option for £1.9 K and saving £1k overall (but still hard to get). Very well built thought, metal frame and just fitted in roof with other AIO Rad by half a baw hair...:D.

Yes, a chain store in Taiwan partnership with MSI running this promotion. Claimers need to have full set with the original box for the dragons to claim a 5080, 5 cards already been claimed by end of last week.

Got my hands on the Aorus 5090 and it's a keeper. I already had the Aorus 5080 (which will now live in another rig, although it's 1mm longer than I have space for in that case...)

Interesting to play spot the difference between the 5080 and 5090 models. Back plate is obviously different, but there are also subtle differences on the side and front (fan-side).

Nice setup/colour scheme

Have you tried the extra fan on the 5090? Does it screw in or clip on?
