NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Wondering if I should have hung fire and ordered the Auros when they are available, but we're talking a marginal performance upgrade of 5% over a Zotac Solid OC?

Possibly a bit cheeky of me to ask, so feel free to ignore me. Do you have a rough ball-park estimate of how much OcUK will be charging for them if/when they become available?

If the numbers remain so small, we never will offer them as we have corporate customers buying £40,000 PC's with them in.

Hopefully with NVIDIA ramping up more and more, more will flow to Gigabyte and GIgabyte will allocate more here, the waterblocks are also pretty scarce as well.

Guess I'll keep an eye out for any that have decent waterblock availability then! Thanks for the matter-of-fact response :-)

I'm like you and was pretty set on getting the Waterforce WB. However, I've moved on to just looking at the three AIO versions instead (Astral, Suprim, Waterforce) as they will probably be more readily available at some point (and will have more versatility).

I have to ask, what on earth is this for?
Honestly I don't need it for anything. The only game I ever play is league of legends. Which any setup older than 5 years ago could have handled easy then. And as much as I love to tell you it is for some unique and niche use case that another member thought the simple answer is I love collecting stuff and building pc's in my spare time. Usually I don't finish work till late so there is not much for me to do at 10pm onwards so I spend my time tinkering with pc parts.

And while this will open me to judgement, comments or ridicule then that is perfectly fine. It like someone who collects coins or any other hobby. Why collect another expensive coin when you already have loads anyways It's about the chase.

Admittedly it cost a bit but in the context of my 'collecting' addiction it doesn't even compare to what I spent collecting 3xxx and 4xxx series cards and even then that pales in comparison to what I spent during my headphones and hi fi phase many moons ago.

Absolutely no judgement here. Everyone has a hobby. Yours just happens to be computers and you clearly have the means to support it.

Please post photos when you are done building. I love me a good set up photo

Still nice to start seeing some cards pop up @ MSRP, even if you do still have to have lightening reflexes to nab one.

Yeah I think I'll keep my opinion to myself

The same as the OOS price, although:

1) Some cards have never been in stock (as far as I know)

2) The price can increase before they come back in stock (the windforce wasn't always £2.5k)

Yeah, I'm only asking as the Suprim LC, Aorus Master, and Astral prices look far more reasonable than other retailers IF they were to sell them at that price.
