NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Im sure theyve plenty of 5090s flowing to worry about keeping a Zotac in store lol, could just be shipping address error or as you say bit of shipping damage. My guess is address issue
Wish it was an address issue: then I'd at least have a clue. Address on the delivery is accurate, and DPD delivers here very often no problem.

Do you have a queue position?
Can you tell me where you are in the queue? I am off to meet the seller of the Astral this afternoon on my work break and see what's up with that. It sounds too good to be true and it probably is. But on the offchance it could be legit it worth the my time to check it out. If it is legit and I end up geting it then I do recall I owe you a conversation about a Suprim *cough*...

Damn this is a nasty internet *cough*... :P

23! So cloooseeee… ETA has changed to tomorrow so guess I’m not on the day-by-day wait like @gotenson5 was =]

I am not a huge fan of the Ventus in terms of looks or fan noise, but I totally understand the appeal of getting something that performs almost identically to a model costing 50% more. If it's in a case on the floor then frankly what's the point of the fancier models.

Are you saying this as someone who has one in hand? I’ve not seen anything on the 5090 Ventus from an owner’s perspective.

Get the feeling there are not many of these in circulation. As someone mentioned in earlier posts the AIB manufacturers likely want to build the higher tier 5090 models. Stick on an OC label and bios and that's +£100-£200 on the sales price. Add a fancier cooler that probably costs them an extra £10 or £20 and they add £200-£500 on the sales price. Not many advantages for them to be building cards to sell at near MSRP unless the processor in it is trash and can't be used in any higher tier SKUs.

I absolutely agree that is happening. I just refuse to buy a £2k card that not a single person has reviewed, or even shared their opinions about, online. Too risky.

So you can pause your game and stand in front of the radiator on the front of your case to warm up. That’s what I do anyway.

The heat these cards kick out is insane so having a better card which should in theory both get the heat out your case better and do it with less noise is worth it imo. Not at the levels I ended up paying though :D.

Honestly so glad i made the decision to get my 5070 ti from OCUK. Been up and running for a few weeks now. While the preorder for my friend from the other place is still at queue position 60. At this rate i dont even know if it will turn up this year!

Which card are they waiting on?

The 'other place' should be embarrassed by the lack of stock they have. At the moment they don't have a single 5080 you can buy and OCUK has 18 different cards available to buy now. OCUK is also one of the only places you regularly see decent drops of 5090s. If only the 5090s availability could be similar to the 5080s it would certainly kill off the folk who are only buying these to profiteer from the demand.
