*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

I was super excited about the Switch. But it just did not get enough use as it was for first party games only which sometimes tookages to come out. Pretty sure at one point I did not play it for well over a year.

This time will wait 5 years or maybe even until their next console to pick it up. Will be cheaper and no waiting for games.

Also I really wanted to see F Zero and a PunchOut game which they never made which was disappointing.

No way I can wait that long. Also this might be my last home console purchase, I'm getting old lol.

Another thing that put me off was I did not enjoy the last Zelda they made. The first one I enjoyed quite a bit.

Maybe I will revisit it some day. Sometimes it take some games longer to get into.

I'll be aiming to buy mine directly, i'm really hoping there is an requirement to have Nintendo Online to make a purchase to curb the scalpers at least a little bit.

Will probably go with Amazon, as I have Prime and a major distribution hub near me. Failing that, I'll buy directly from the Nintendo storefront.

Shop-To were running a reservation system when the announcement went up but I didn’t sign up. Not sure who I’ll order with if at all.

I'm hoping for a remake of Zelda A Link to the Past in the Echoes of Wisdom engine, 1080P @60. Throw in new versions of 1080 Snowboarding, Wave Race and Starfox and my credit card will be in tears :D

Isn't the Echoes of Wisdom engine the same garbage one used for Links Awakening with frame drops everywhere?
