So is it because it's Nintendo now charging £70+ for a game that has upset people?
The perception that the Switch was deemed the "kids console" and has now gone through a mega evolution with the Switch 2 and pricing to match is a little difficult to accept?
It's more that it hasn't gone through a "mega evolution" at all really, it's all the expected standard improvements, bit more screen (but the correctly predicted technology step back), more cpu, more gpu etc. with a 40% price bump from the predecessor.
The £75 games and controller, expensive memory cards etc. is just the icing on the cake really.
I wouldn't say I'm upset though, not invested enough to get upset but it's certainly placed the Switch 2 in the "buy it later" category when it eventually has a strong enough game lineup - there's simply no compelling reason to want one right now for me.
