he's an okish keeper, just very prone to howlers.

Hes an enigma. Sometimes plays really well but has far too many errors in him as an actual shot stopper. His distribution isn't anything special either from his time at United. In the CL final he had one of the best games I have ever seen a keeper have. He is not that keeper day in day out.
aye, he's quite capable of pulling off a worldy or 2 here and there but his average, typical game is quite often simply well below what's expected. IMHO and without going looking at stats, other than saving penalties he's been a step down in pretty much every metric over DDG (someone's gonna pull stats now to show i'm wrong aint they

Very true - I actually gave Onana the benefit of the doubt in the early days of his UTD career, as he was bound to be shot to pieces (pun intended) with the amount of shots untied conceded. But he’s shown, imo, that even with the improvement in the number of shots we face he’s still shockingly prone to an utter calamity out of nowhere.
I forgot too, love how he is looking for someone to blame for the first. I think its a bit harsh putting the second one in the vid, I know it looks like he dives with his arms bent but there was no chance he was getting to that.
Just think how many trees had to die to make this
