They are the Apple of the gaming world. They give people want they want in a slick package that just works. No massive bugs. No half finished products. A great experience for people who just want to do what the device is intended for.
 
Well whilst I've had the invite email I'm currently unable to pre-order the console as i'm not receiving the verification email, i'm guessing the system is getting hammered.

Game key cards are expected to be the majority of "physical" games as 3rd party publishers want to avoid the high costs, at least for now

It's been revealed that the Switch 2 SD card costs $16 to manufacture and is the reason why most 3rd party switch 2 games will be on key cards and not sd cards

Nothing from me here. Subbed less than a year but with a ton of gametime so guess they still care about that.

Tech and features aren't everything. Plenty of people don't want to be able to do a million things they are not interested in. Theres a reason Apple and Nintendo are absolutely massive and its not because they are amazing at marketing.

I don't disagree I just think the Apple comparison is terrible. Won't go into it further because I'd rather not tarnish this thread with Apple nonsense.

To be fair, they have a style which looks pretty great to me. Even Wii U first party stuff looked great. I like having the best of both worlds with a Switch and a PS5. Gives me everything I want.

Will probably only get Nintendo games but me broadband os 1.8Gbps so should not be a problem

In actual NINTENDO related news, I secured a cheap copy of BOTW so I can get bored of it in a higher resolution on Switch 2.
