Do you have Catapult Killers near you?

Could be the subtitle of my late childhood/early teens.

One of the reasons putting me off having another child is the chance of it being a boy. If I could have another girl, I'd have one in a heart beat. Being a boy and growing up, I know how stupid we can be and I don't want the stress of raising one
But with a boy you have to worry about one penis, with a girl you have to worry about all the penises in the area!

This sounds like one of those things that was happening 'in another town' - or in other words, wasn't happening at all.

Similar to the annual rumours of 'people are stabbing other people at <insert vaguely local music festival> with AIDS infected needles' that seemed to crop up

I got the story quite wrong, my appologies. It was many years ago. They were stabbing people in the behind.

"Discussing the 'bagging' stabbing trend which is on the rise, PC Steve Cheatam explained: 'Someone will be stabbed up the backside so they have to wear a colostomy bag for the rest of their life."

"They do that simply because of the injury and the humiliation that person will have to live with.'

And viewers who watched the drama unfold took to Twitter to voice their disgust at the gruesome scenes.

'Oh my god that is shocking - "bagging," never heard the term before (other than in the supermarket). These gangs are really sick vile individuals."

It certainly makes you question if there's any point trying to save the planet for future generations if these are the future generations

What do you expect when there's no real deterrent to criminal behaviour? In fact it often pays.

Where did this Police officer get their medical degree?

Swans are vicious horrible bloody things anyway.
they are beautiful birds. little story to illustrate this. while fishing me and the father in law noticed a female swan had fishing line around its neck. so the father in law threw out bread to lure it in so we could try and catch it. as it slowly got closer he grabbed it it went a little crazy at first but once he started unravveling the fishing line from its neck it settled. once it was off he put the swan back down and the female and male stopped with us all day just chilling like it sorta knew it had been helped. was cool.

I'd fully support vigilante justice on those kids.

Maybe commission a producer to make an edgy 1 take per episode series about a group of swans that break a catapult attackers arm after watching right wing hate videos and go into the consequences the swans face for being brainwashed.

Live near water and watch swans, all this nonsense that they are aggressive. Hardly. Yes, during breeding season, the male chases all the other ducks or geese around but rarely attacks because they flee when they see the battleship on its way.

The goddamn myth about breaking limbs - if someone had a limb broken due to a rambo swan it would be on every front page.

Personally, if these scum are a victim of vigilante justice and get decked... good.

When I worked in a sewage treatment plant there were a pair of swans that always used to go for me, even though I tried to give them a wide birth.

Even when I was on my John Deere then used to. The animal control guy has a little area on the edge of the plant, I used to talk to him now and then.

Anyway one occasion he had a .22 rifle on him, and we were talking next to one of the oxidisation ponds, and the swan was on it. I asked him to borrow the rifle and took a shot at this swan.

I missed, about 6 inches low and handed the rifle back.

Looking back now I'm pleased I did miss, lucky bloody swan though.
