In a way race was unavoidable due to the period they went to. But also to remind Belinda. Doctor just brushed it off as he had got used to it.Actually enjoyed that episode! However.........
Doctor crying again.
Race brought in again - why didn't he use his psychic paper?
Sonic screwdriver to bust a lock? He could have used it to turn off the cameras/projectors.
I still think Ncuti is a great actor - only saw him in Sex Education, but he is rubbish as the Doctor - no screen presence and no signs of being a Timelord and someone not to be messed with.
Did the girl in the wheelchair have a Yoda t-shirt?! lol.
But yeah, much improved from last weeks and the new companion gives as good as she gets, not just one of the 'fam'.
Did he cry? I don't remeber it this time.
It was doing alright until the utterly stupid sequence where they turned into cartoons and got worse when they popped out into the living room.I loved every moment

I thought it was worse than Red Dwarf: Back to Earth, and that's saying something.
The master and Cybermen last got wheeled out in Jodie's finale so doubt we'll see them again for a little while. As for Daleks Chibnell used them in every one of his new year specials so they are being rested for a bit too.It was better than Episode 1 but that's not saying much. came across more like Tales Of The Unexpected or Spielberg Amazing Stories, than Who. And yes, even if justified, the compulsion from RTD to set back in 1950's America so they could get the dig in about racial segregation.
Next week looks like it's set in space so hopefully a bit more sci to the fi and Ncuti has yet to be tested by some of the arch enemies - Daleks, Autons, Silurians or Cybermen. Or even the Master, who no longer seems to feature in the storylines.
I listen to 'The rest is entertainment' podcast twice a week and I'm well informed from that that "overnight" ratings are pretty pointless now, because so many people watch things on iPlayer.![]()
Doctor Who confirms overnight ratings for Lux – lowest in series history
The figure fell below 2 million for the first time ever, despite a warm reception from fans.www.radiotimes.com
Lowest viewership ever and that includes classic who, move aside McCoy!
He also cries in the next episode it was in the preview. When he was saying goodbye to the 3 Doctor Who fans - people who he met 5mins prior.

I'm sure thats always been the case where its aimed at families and kids. It's never been marketed and targeted at adults.I’ve not seen a really good episode since “Blink”. The current series is waiting to be watched but it’s seems aimed at 9 year olds so I may not bother.
