Surprised he doesn't do it more often with that stupid cueing method of his. Aim to the side of the ball, then align to where you want to hit it as you play the shot. Jimmy White aims to the bottom of the ball but he doesn't physically twitch to one side when he plays the shot. How it works for Trump beggars belief, you'd think it would just introduce far more problems.
 
And another seed bites the dust, Zhang was so far below his best making so many errors, allowing Pang to level at 7-7 and then steal a 10-7 victory.

On the other table, Murphy made easy work of Wells, despite the debutant making three tons and a 68 to win four frames. I could definitely see Murphy winning this twenty years after his first title, if he beats his expected opponent in the next round, namely Judd.

A new cue (ton praram phantom) and seems to be a titanium ferrule so will take some getting used to. It's unusual to see him without a parris cue with the burwat champion design on it. Just plain ebony for a change.

The Thai makers are very good and have excellent wood supplies apparently

At least that is what i keep telling myself since I own one
 
Judd only having 1 World Title is a real an anomaly on his record, been such a boss on the circuit for like 10 years. In fact his general triple crown record doesn't match his ability really. Needs to hope he does a Ronnie and starts picking them up after 35.

That’ll probably be difficult for him with all of the Chinese players coming through.

Ronnie and Selby are probably the main reason why a number of top class players of the last ~15 years have a muted collection of winner trophies.

No idea if Selby changed his rock hard tip overnight.

Still can't believe Ben gifted the last frame, Selby needed a snooker with pink and black left, all Ben needed to do was keep rolling the pink dead weight to pockets.

Should be 7-6 to Ben at interval...

We see all these snooker stats..I'd love to see one based on what players have been involved in the most re-racks. Selby would be so far ahead it would be comical. Wasn't all that long ago it seemed like almost every other match he was in a re-rack occurred.

You hear Murphy talk about the dark arts of Snooker, I think Selby invented most of it.
