Why aren't vegans eating the food they ask for?

I try and do the accidentally vegan stuff, I do have processed say at a BBQ , my daughter introduced me to nutritional yeast as a cheese sprinkle alternative ( my granddaughter has a dairy allergy) Tesco have a few deals on the unhealthy stuff
Can't keep up with the posts today, both grandkids are dairy intolerant ( 8yr old and 4 months). Daughter works for Tesco's, so she's tried out most of the packaged stuff and only eats a few of them. How do people get the idea that vegans are skinny or weak? I've just had to get a couple of school dresses for the granddaughter who baring in mind was 8yrs old is in 12-13yr old clothes. Although she was long and chunky when she was born.

Does owning your own chickens that you care for like family pets, but also happening to eat their eggs, count as animal exploitation?

I was told recently that my cholesterol is far too high so I'm eating tons of healthy stuff at the moment and homous is lovely. Dammit now I want homous and avo on toast for lunch.
Trouble is you can reduce your cholesterol but increase your triglycerides (I think that's what it was) which is just as bad apparently.

Yes according to vegans.
Which is utterly retarded.
What exactly am i supposed to do with the eggs from my rescue chooks?
Maybe I’ll start throwing them at vegans.
Obviously I’m not going to do that before someone reports me for violence or whatnot, + it’d be a waste.

And I guess any true vegan therefore wouldn't have pets at all (like, be vegan all you want, but your cat needs to eat meat).
Not necessarily, my daughter and her partner have a corn snake(they have to buy frozen mice for it ) 3 cats and now they are looking after a baby mouse brought in by one of the cats. They realise that the animals have specific diets.

But if you are against animals being used for food, that should apply across the board no, not just for human consumption?

It would depend on your own personal take on being a vegan. For my daughter and her partner they see it as a personal choice for them only. They are not however at the extreme side of it as some are.

It's just a viewpoint after all done and said. You rescued the chickens from the battery farm, but in doing so you become the exploiter buy using the eggs that are laid and would go to waste. Now, if you'd left them to be culled after their useful egg laying period you would be a monster for letting it happen.

What's the saying?
What came first the chicken or the egg?

It’s a no win situation with these people, it really is.

Animals have rights.

The right to taste good, feed billions of people, and be eaten by predators.

Yes I'm being puerile as frankly there's no point in trying to have a mature conversation with a close minded person.

Oh I thought you were done? Very intelligent thing to say btw.

Il try one last time, Do you think its logically/morally consistent to say "I care about animals", while paying someone to breed, exploit and kill animals?

If you at least answered honestly and said no, it would show some integrity.

The fact you cant see the irony in your posts is again testament to the indoctrination, ive spoken to hundreds maybe even thousands of people on this topic, and your tactics while nothing new is probably up their with some of the most closed minded drivel ive read, so well done on that I guess.

Someone who has made a good post for the veggie side without resorting to shock tactics and accusations. Well done.

Hes on your side..... he doesnt pay for animal exploitation once a week, thats not my side is it.

Probably murderers, not cretin that I can remember. Now remind me is cretin worse or better than murderers?

Na, didnt say that either, nice try though.

You see, the problem with taking an extreme stance is that you only need to be proven wrong once. I don't need to go out of my way to show your entire past, which is utterly full of the same sort of thing. You've done this many, many times -- but in this glorious response of yours you claimed to have only linked a "slaughterhouse" video that you admitted to linking yourself.

Your greatest issues across the board, and the worst offenders you have, are halal slaughterhouses.

You intentionally go to extremes and then semi-deny them when called out, it's poor rhetoric at best and that's my being polite. I really did not intend to engage in this as others have already dealt with you, but by some mercy of whatever deity you might worship I suggest some introspection.

I'm going to be frank here: I think you're an extreme "vegan" online that's still too much of a coward to call out the way meat is prepared by certain religious groups. (For the record, I'm not fussed either way about halal)

You seem confused, look at my post again.... the 4 links I provided have NOTHING to do with halal.... the video I linked does though, like I previously said.

Halal slaughter is wrong..... so is stunned slaughter. Im not religious.

Clear for you now?
