They are selling, stock is ramped up, meanwhile the 9070 is sitting on shelves and XT is heading that with as its price is close to the 5070 ti. AMD can't be trusted, they give a fake msrp to get good day one reviews, scam.
AMD RDNA4 fails to meet its launch price, for 8 weeks Not enough enouragement. Shortly after launch, AMD displayed queues of gamers at the US retailer MicroCenter eager to buy Radeon RX 9070 graphics cards. For reasons not publicly explained, AMD chose this retail chain to receive thousands of...

I have to agree with this, the cheapest available 5070 Ti is £60 (less than 10%) more expensive than the cheapest available 9070 XT.
Nvidia are plagued with driver issues right now, look on Youtube its not just big tech jurnoes saying this youtube is full of people with videos saying switching out their RTX 40 series for a 9070 XT fixed all their issues.
So there is still a lot of kudos for AMD right now but how long do we think Nvidia will allow the 'Nvidia bad drivers AMD good drivers' narrative to continue?
Nvidia will put a billion $ in to fixing their crap because they can and because they aren't going to allow that narrative to stick, they are very happy with that narrative sticking like glue to AMD.
Its as if AMD are capitalising on Nvidia's mistakes with no thought to garnering any kind of good will from the many who are currently frustrated with Nvidia, what they are saying to the consuming public is "No.... We are just like Nvidia, give us half a chance and we will treat you with the same level of contempt, you wont find anymore respect for you on this side"
They did lie about MSRP because none of them are available and haven't been for a long time now, the cheapest ones both here and in the US are over $100 above the base MSRP price.
I have been saying for a couple of years that AMD's drivers are now solid, they are and that is now recognised, we should just be talking about how good those drivers are and how good RDNA 4 is, a proper return to form for AMD in GPU's, instead we are talking about how AMD are part of the problem.
