Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

Folks being a bit weird over this - and by that I don't mean Liverpool fans. (Except Mark acting like people shouldn't be arsed about him leaving)

Its an emotional sport/hobby you follow - not a business transaction. Wanting people to treat all players transactionally when they choose to leave (along with misleading and ultimately taunting the fans in the process as a Vice Captain) is odd and the sport would be very boring if so, getting invested in your team and players is fun.

When non-local players do this in their prime to move to similar level clubs/rivals its always a bitter one to swallow and people unsurprisingly don't like it. It's amplified given the length of time with the club, being from the city and the pre-meditated nature of it whilst trying their best to obscure it.
Where I have said people shouldn’t be arsed about him leaving?

Of course I’d rather he not go. Fans however calling him a rat, general abuse I don’t agree with that doesn’t make me not arsed.

I’d rather focus on all the good he did, instead of moan and beat him with a stick, players come and go, over all as a club we replace players quite well so I’m not too concerned in that sense

Said it before I’d rather be replacing Trent than Salah or Virgil as I see him as the easier of the three

His attitude for England (refusing the call up multiple times unless he's first choice) suggests an attitude problem which we don't want or need in the dressing room.
He refused call up because of his treatment by England coach Steve Holland (whatever that happened to entail).

Ben White's attitude as an Arsenal player has been nothing short of exemplary. That said, Arsenal won't be looking to sell. He's out of the team because of a long-term injury and then picking up multiple niggles since his return. With Tierney and Zinchenko leaving and Tomiyasu unlikely to be able to kick a ball again for Arsenal, if anything we will be looking to strengthen the backline.

We have far too many options at the back which is good... But it seems to have come at the expense of options up top.

Arsenal MUST bring in a top striker this summer or I can see the fan base turning toxic and Arteta won't have much longer in the job.

So far Arteta has done a good job but this summer is very important to get right.

Romano saying that Frimpongs release clause is 30m? If thats true I cant see us not going for him as a Trent filler, 30m is peanuts these days.
Seeing lots of chatter about Vanderson of Monaco today, don't know much about him but stats wise looks a beast defensively - which would make sense with kerkez at lb given how Slot likes his fb's. Just want to window to open up now!

Frimpong makes sense in an attacking way but not if we want to have more natural defensive type.

I think Frimpong is even more attacking than Trent is

Zubamendi to Arsenal looks on, assuming he doesn’t get cold feet wants to go to a second place team :p

Also again Arteta isn’t prioritising the position Arsenal need it’s almost as if he is blind to it

I mean, you don't ignore any other signings based on the fact you really need someone in position X. They will know their budget and one would assume they have enough put aside for a top class striker alongside any other incomings.

I mean Arsenal do since you ignored required position 2 seasons already :p

If anyone has remotely paid attention to Arteta's comments over time, he's made it clear - multiple times - that attack is the priority and will be strengthened, and that the forward positions haven't had the required level of investment.

I know **** posting seems to be the norm on this forum, but this is really tedious stuff.

You’re as moody as Arteta now, clearly most people are having a laugh.
