starting to get pumped for this and have game pass as well, game pass has been awesome recently, clair obscura im gonna play and playing oblivion remastered on it then this game as well :D

Indiana is the slayer.....

It's to show why it's worth waiting for the PT and ray reconstruction update. Same engine and all that. I held of for for the update in indiana and shall do the same for this, "the way it's meant to be played" :cool:

Good to see PCGH making it clear that MFG is beneficial/aimed at those of us with 240+HZ monitors:

The real joy only begins at 240 Hertz or higher. Thanks to the high refresh rate, the E2E latency of 240 Hertz, even with 4x MFG, is at a similarly low level to the 120 Hertz measurement without FG.

All console versions are capped at 60fps max with dips below depending on the scene. Seems the Series X provides the most consistent 60fps though for consoles.

PC version will be superior as expected, better RT, Full RT, orders of magnitude higher fps, better visuals, sharper textures, better upscaling, better graphical options and general settings.

Unless you have a cheese of a PC then the PC version is the obvious way to play.

yeh pc ftw on a doom game especially how fast the last 2 have been, mouse keyboard ftw tbh unless the game is console only like killzone etc

think my rig should run it good on gamepass and my ps5 can continue to be a ornament :)

aiming for 2560x1440p on a 7800x3d and 7800xt and 32 gig :)
 
Was going to say you can tell who plays the games for the gameplay and who just looks looks at the pretty visuals. mrk just compare pc and console and didn't even mention the most important thing with an FPS....mouse and keyboard!

I keep on saying "auto aim" with the xbox crowd (that is a cheating and low skill feature on xbox)

It's like people have forgotten gamepass exists.... You don't even need the gamepass app to make use of it, direct on Microsoft Store built into windows 11. I'm already pre installed and will complete it in a month £9.99 well spent.

The mechanics in this lend well to controller use vs on Eternal, plus proper controller FPS players will hand you your ass on your mouse and keyboard lol :cry:

I play both but prefer PC mouse keyboard obviously but it'd a choice and skill issue otherwise .
