Cant be much of a stock issue since everywhere has em now. So i wonder what the issue with lowering the price of em. Tho retailers being retailers, wont want to sell for less so unless there is a leader that will start lowering em and has a knock on effect i doubt we will see 550 quid 9070xt's anytime soon. Think that was the msrp wasnt it?

Edit £569 i meant.

Msrp was 569.99

Sapphire 9070 still in stock which is promising. Can't really afford to buy til July so hopefully it sticks around or even gets a slight discount *copium*. My friend lent him his old 2070s after upgrading to a 5070 (I had a 1060 before) so still got acceptable perf for 1080p but would be nice to upgrade to 1440p with a modern gpu and also monitor.

You can do 4k with a 9070xt

FSR4 looks really good compared to native imo because of better anti-aliasing,clean image, and it's free performance

I prefer to have more headroom at 4K don't think we are quite there at this price point still
Not everything officially supports fsr4 , I know you can unofficially but risky for online

It's amusing to think that the customers are literally outbidding AMD.

AMD: offers £XX if the card gets sold at £569.99

Customers: queuing up to pay £659.99 and regularly buying around £700

If the retailer can get much higher than MSRP then the supplier knows they can charge more and the manufacturer knows they can charge more and AMD saves money because no one cares about applying for the rebates.

The customer is paying more to keep the price high than AMD is willing to rebate to keep the price low...

Ashamed and still selling... The only way prices go down is if demand drops off, they'd be mad to throw profit away. Stock levels are stabalising, it's now a case of is scarcity real or planned.

No it's supply, nvidia is flooding the market and now prices are at msrp, AMD had no intention of gaining market share hence lackluster supply. AMD can't be trusted, even their radeon leader lied about more cards being available at msrp. MSRP was never more than a few units on day one for good reviews.
