I was once given a ride in a Cayman GT4, and I would do very morally and ethically questionable things to own one.
Erm... it worked for me...

Looking good! Love how it sits too, perfect height. Are the wheels spaced out too?Still shiny after 20 years

Loving this thing. It's really great to have a nice car again and enjoy the school run even if I'm just cruising there and back. 310bhp, 4 drive, proper colour and can fit the kids, dogs & camping gear when needed. Lovely all-rounder.
Probably one of Cupras more restrained wheel designs at the momentInteresting wheels!
I don't love or hate them, they're just interesting!
Makes a change.

Really like mine too, although it’s the VZ2 rather than the 3.Loving this thing. It's really great to have a nice car again and enjoy the school run even if I'm just cruising there and back. 310bhp, 4 drive, proper colour on and can fit the kids, dogs & camping gear when needed. Lovely all-rounder.

Thanks! I've only had it a month or so. I was going to keep the Mondeo and was looking at older 2+2s to compliment it but I quickly realised I'll still be compromising one way or the other but with older potentially unreliable money pits. Plus I'm 40 next month and wanted to treat myself. I do miss my MX5 and I'm jealous of yours, but I'll always need 4 seats otherwise I'll never get to drive it.I must have missed this, I thought you still had the Mondeo!
Estate <3
Fast <3
Private plate <3
I bought the car not liking them, but preferring them over the other options. The vented parts between the spokes are plastic but at least that makes them lighter I guess. They have grown on me but you're right, 19" is too big. If I wasn't a boring old man with a warranty I'd put some money into something that matches the mirror and grille surround but that would look daft without some lowering springs etc. It's a slippery slope.Interesting wheels!

Yeah. I'd got used to diesel where no matter how I drove it the MPG was fairly consistent. Wildly going from low 20s to touching 40s has seen me in the petrol station more than I anticipaed. I've still got that new car fever though so it'll settle down soon.Really like mine too, although it’s the VZ2 rather than the 3.
Surprising how economical it can be on a long run too, regularly see 40+
Said no man everI do think they would look better an inch smaller though.![]()

What happened to the other engines on the Clio???One of my other loves, and stablemate to the Porsche GT4, is my 20-year-old Renaultsport Clio 182 Trophy (#165).
It's on its 5th engine, it's been a love/hate thing. It's cost me almost as much as the GT4!
Now it's back to standard, I love it. It needs some TLC cosmetics-wise, but mechanically it is running great. The perfect car for the local roads I enjoy.

Both look ace in red.
TBF the Porsche plate would look better on the Clio.

My brother in law has a 182 in black and he has just destroyed his engine due to an improper gear change. He's rebuilding it as we speak
Over the years, it's had everything from minor engine upgrades, DTH throttle bodies, custom Jenvey ITB setup, forged and high compression, and high boost turbo.
Still shiny after 20 years

It's the only part other drivers see.Looks great but did you only wash and polish the right hand side of the car![]()
