*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

The frame rate drops in Links Awakening were annoying, only seemed to happen in areas that were more GPU demanding. I'm pretty confident that the Switch 2 will solve that issue considering its significantly faster. Switch 1 was just too underpowered to even run some of Nintendo's own first party games properly without slowdowns.

Switch 2 should have been released a few years ago.

Not sure I really agree with that but Nintendo will squeeze every last penny out of its customers and the Switch was printing money for them so there was zero incentive to give us anything more than what they did to keep the gravy train rolling.

Picked up the bundle from Curry's as that's all they had at the time, so I get the console, pro controller, camera and Street Fighter 6. I wanted the controller anyway and really don't want the game so I can always sell that cheaply, not fussed on the camera either, but I may keep that.

I hope they make it easier to deal with DLC on the new Switch. Having an option to download all DLC for a game you either bought or got the DLC for free because of Nintendo Switch Online. In fact having a single option to download everything you own in one go would be great.

Curry’s have a bundle up but it’s with accessories I just don’t want.

This is the annoyance with bundles which they would let you build your own when new consol launches every retailer always adds accessories many won’t use

I guess it’s because they now have their last few units so they are maximise their sales potential.

Given the only new game is Mario Kart, I just ordered the console itself. I’ll flesh it out in time as needed. I’m not going to be buying a camera or anything like that but perhaps a pro controller in time but I tend to play handheld so I may just not bother.

The only thing I am looking for is a compact case if anyone has any recommendations.

Got a screen protector and a case ready, put it next to the Steam Deck, the Switch is taller but the Steam Deck is wider.
