It's too hot :(

Yeah it's been an amazing summer here , warm not hot and always a breeze , today's weather better than I thought, doing my usual New Polzeath to Padstow and beyond via ferry but I can walk most on the beach as a big tide

So much for light showers until approx 1000 this morning in Hampshire, it's been on and off all day and expected to continue.

Water butts refilled over night so that's nice. Looks like we're in for a few grey showery days next week.
Barely a moistening here. Quite dry outside too! :D

But seriously.. If it's going to be overcast.. May as well rain.

Same they were really empty as well its actually rained enough to moisten the parched earth the wind is really blowing though theres tons of leaves blown down hope its dry enough tomorrow to get the mower out to suck them all up. Planted lettuce, beetroot but its been so grey and chilly all week the runner beans sown last week havn't even stirred in their pots

I got this week off work and it looks like it going be another normal week of the crappy UK weather of rain & rain & even more rain :(

What a beautiful summer it's been. Not been this good since covid!
I wont lie its miserable for me now. I think last year I made it to late July before needing the towels.
It isnt just me neither, neighbour told me she is having to wash sweat out of her hair.

But if you live somewhere nice, not facing west, and have a breeze I can imagine it has been pleasant.

Also good you called out spring as summer. :) This has to be the hottest spring I can remember for a long time. My room during May is matching last July temperatures.

The last 3 months have been glorious on the West side of the country, bet that's our Summer done, be cloud and rain mostly now.

Yeah it really has hasn't it!
I've noticed the last few years (quite a few actually) july/August is the worst time and april/may and September/start of October is best

I specifically picked a West facing garden as means I can sit in my swing chair on sunny hot evenings. I can take a lot of hest. Only when it's 35+ do I start to need a break.

I just change my hobbies to water based ones when it's like this.

May be back on bike next week as looks much worse! :(
