It's too hot :(

Thanks, have you had any concerns with the heat build up in the window? Seems to be mentioned in some reviews that it makes the glass very hot.
I did have concerns originally but from what I remember it wasn't an issue if the glass is strengthened and when I looked closely mine had the symbol for it. It has been about 5 years now and I haven't had any problems with the glass.

One thing I forgot to mention. It is great to have it in the summer when its really sunny, but it makes the rooms look a little dim in the winter months as it blocks out some of the natural light too.
 
It's amazing this week , very low 20s and a breeze , ok work sucks in the afternoon (,bottling craft gin) but hey ho.
The evenings are lush , will be enjoying the sunset with a few glasses of red tonight in the living room garden some easy coastal walks as usual over the weekend

are the bees out yet? not noticed any on my balcony so far, only a few strawbs are flowering though, got 3 pots of lavender for them but its only just budding

It's perfect here at the minute mid to low twenties and sunny in the daytime, then a good temp drop at night to 7 or 8 at least so the house hasn't just become an oven 24/7.
