It was available for pre-order at least 5 minutes before on one of the sites I was looking at. Gone now.
I tend to stay away from the big sites on pre-order days. Hope you get one anyway.

Used my phone on Elemental games and paid with applepay. Went super quick. Wayland still have it up with a big discount. Travelling man had it up 2 hours before the sale but only found out after they sold out. Hopefully elemental will not have any fulfilment issues!

145 quid would have been a tough pill to take so really wanted the 20% discount.

Box set contains (prob costs) £200ish
Gray hunters £40
Bloodclaws £40
Headtakers? same price as blade guard? but then you get 3 large wolves £35+?
Battlegaurd leader £25
Wolf priest £25
Cards and supplement codeex?

Oh yeah I know the value is there. It's just like just taking it from the picture. It doesn't look much for the cost especially when you look at things like the recent death guard box where you got vehicles and stuff.

Vehicles!!! How does one split his foe in two with his axe hiding inside Vehicles!!! :D

It would have been awesome if there was updated Dreads but if we would have gotten them there would have been civil war again!!

Most seem to think updated Dreads and vehicles will be next edition.

Apart from GreyKnights I think most factions have had decent updates.

Spaces wolves would have been one of the oldest ranges that require serious 3rd party bits or modding to get primaris to looks like Space Wolves!!

It’s alright modding and green stuffing one or two characters but it’s get pretty pitta doing it for large squads!

New models are perfect to get the bulk of army built and painted.

I think someone says it’s the same as the EC sets. So many head options and bits.
 
I like how we are getting older helmets in the mix now.


Also that fellblade....mmmmmm, think that will be an instant buy for the display atop the PC !

Yeah HH has way cool stuff for armour. However, I'm still not tempted to play it because it's just another load of project stuff to get through.

Have you seen the stamp sets from Brent/Goobertown and Casey/EbayMiniatureRescue? They look great for shoulder markings but are a bit on the pricey side. There will probably be knockoffs at some point, given they were influenced by nail art stamps.
 
Just doing the metallics on my BT's and I totally forgot how good Vallejo metal color line is!! I have steel, Silver and Chrome. Anyone know what colour is closest to Leadbelecher? After a shade that's between Silver and steel in the Vallejo line.

Ah, fair enough. I thought they looked fun but have no use for them, then I saw the prices.

Been a while since I used leadbelcher so can't remember the tone/shade but could you not mix in a little brown, black or both to the steel?
 
Think I got my armour joints for BT nailed down. I tried Silver and a black wash and black contrast and the black contrast looks really nice!!.

Lighter colour armour - black joints or dark grey with wash.

Dark armour - metallic with shade contrast

I’ve ordered Vallejo metal color Gun metal. Seems to be close but Leadbelcher does seem to have a wee bit of a brown tint to it.
 
Been working on this, nearly finished, A few minor touch-ups and I have to put the metal tendril things on. Yes that is fresh PVA glue because I've just done my lazy basing.
I was worried the whole army would look a little too uniform eventually so I decided to add a bit of colour onto this one.

I really need to get my photo box sorted too lol.
