Thunderbolts*

Really liked it and so much better if you try and avoid the hype and net stories about it.
Looking forward to the new phase.

On another side story realised this week that if I had kept my original Secret Wars series 1 and 2 comics they were worth about £8000. :(

I really did actively try and avoid spoilers, other than watching the regular trailers (once only, not TV spots) and weirdly I could peace together most of the movie from that.

I knew in act 1 they would all fight each other, then join forces. I didn't expect Taskmaster to die immediately though.
I knew that when they were in the Limo there was a pursuit, and that Bucky would show up on a motorbike
I knew Bob would end up being the antagonist as soon as he appeared on screen, I knew he would end up flying about squishing people in to black (didn't realise they didn't actually die)

And one thing that was spoiled somehow, despite me avoiding things, was that I somehow found out the Asterix in the title was because they would become the Avengers by the end.

Just saw it, managed to avoid most things (except what the asterisk was)

Overall it was a really good film, very funny. Pugh and Harbour were both absolutely amazing.

Watched this last night and while it isn't as poor as some of the more recent Marvel offerings it falls well short of the heady heights of the majority of the Infinity saga, I wonder if I'm just bored of the whole super hero genre at the moment.

As Shami said above Pugh and Harbour were good though

Didn't realise this hasn't overtaken Captain America on box office takings yet. Marvel must be bricking it.
Only just realised this! Very disappointing as it is much better than Captain America and had very good word of mouth.

Too many big films released at once maybe?

Probably double but a lot depends on where the money is being made.

Everything I read says between 2-3x budget but yes, the where of that money is probably a little hazy and open to interpretation these days when it comes to moving things onto streaming after a few months.

I think China they get less of a cut, which would drive it towards the x3 figure.
