So in Neil's world the drop in viewership between season 1 and 2 was the looks of the actress that was in......season 1 and 2.

Thought that was decent episode to set it up for S3, but if they are starting at Seattle Day 1 for Abby then they will need to stretch each day out over a couple of episodes. This could probably have all been wrapped up in 3 seasons, first have of S3 - Abby and then the final part of the story for the remainded. Stretching it out to 4 could be a bit boring potentially, plus we're unlikely to get to the end of it for 2028 if they go down that path.
The brief washup on the island and then being left untouched seemed utterly pointless and silly. The inference had already been made of the assault with the boats scene. Hopefully next seasons Abby journey will be better.

What a rushed messy episode that was. Some bits needed more time imo but I get it.
I'm really interested in Abby's story more so than Ellie's. So next season has the potential to be a lot stronger.
Overall this season was fine for me, episode 2 was fantastic and handled well, as was episode 6.

it was literally pointless. Dump there, show that the WLF are attacking their island incase the show did a bad job of showing this already, then back in the water. Some of the weakest Green screen I've seen I a while there too
They could have left her in the boat and then shown the explosions to hammer the point home. Instead, that. Considering the previous brutality hinted at between the groups, she should have been killed instantly or left to hang but no. Pretty dire.
You're doing it wrong. You're supposed to ignore that part and play the role of the middle-aged, balding man commenting on her appearance.

Yea, she kind of was.
Agree about her washing up on the island being pointless but other than that I've really enjoyed both seasons and am happy they've stuck to the storyline from the game so closely.
Was that 'kid' an islander? Don't they ever go out the island? Can't remember if they showed that 'prophet' lady in the game?

Im 4 episodes into season 2, enjoying it, really makes me want to play part 2 of the game again.

Wonder what the reasoning was behind adding in the mel stuff telling Ellie to cut the baby out of her.. It never happened in the game and didnt really fit.
