Nice size comparison between the Switch, Switch OLED and Switch 2 side by side at 13:44. Nintendo really did go big with this one.
Yup she's big alright and a tad heavy, but not too bad. The new joycons do feel much heavier, and they are also bigger and feel better built. The new pro controller feels amazing in the hands.
I haven't played any games yet, still trying to download everything, downloads are slow, guess Nintendo servers getting hammered.
I haven't followed the switch 2 release too closely so I'm not aware of all features but I can confirm now that 4k works well when docked to the TV and the UI looks clean. Audio is unfortunately limited to LPCM 5.1, no Atmos here though virtual 3D for headphones is supported. 120hz is only available at 1440/1080 resolutions but the switch 2 won't let me select 1440p on my TV, only 2160/1080 is available.
The screen seems to work well, it's 120hz and it seems to have some dimming function as I can see halos around white items on black backgrounds, I don't know how many dimming zones there are. The screen can get very bright and the colors appear over saturated and really pop - it's very bright and colorful.
Even though I have yet to game on it, the switch 2 is a bit warm on the back. The fan is louder than the switch 1 was but you can still only hear it if you stick the vent right against your ear so it's functionally extremely quiet
Edit: thermal images attached, back of the switch 2 is around 33/34c and 39c at the vents, this is when sitting on the Home Screen and downloading games
