*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

Battery life…

I played in handheld mode last night from 100% to 1%.
Started at exactly 8pm… mainly playing MKW, but tried about 30mins of Mario Wonder, and 20mins of Captain Toad Treasure Tracker in the middle. Put it on charge at 11.06pm when it his 1%.
3 hours and 6mins of continual use.
Not as bad as I was expecting!

Well had my Switch 2 for a couple of day's now & I'm very impressed with it breaths new life into some of the old games I have.
If you haven't got it yet get Fast Fusion it's brilliant.

I resigned to the fact that I just cannot play breath of the wild in handheld mode because certain actions in the game I just don't seem to have the finesse for. Plus it's annoying when I have to hit the minus to bring up the slate.
That's ok though, controller and TV is great or I could use the stand with the joy-cons or pro controller.

Put screen protector on in the end. The steamy room method is legit. Couldn't see a spec of dust.

Cannot see this household lasting past the end of the month without making a purchase, wifey and grandchildren talking about Switch 2 at every opportunity, or so it seems to me.
It does seem a reasonable bit of kit, games maybe a little pricey though.

It does very much feel to me like a switch 'pro' and that's just fine. It seemingly has enough power to play games at 60fps and that's pretty much all I want at a bare minimum for a handheld whilst not looking terrible.
It's also nice being able to use it on my 4K screen without it looking like a potato. There's nothing I preferred on the S1 compared to it.

I've been playing through Bayonetta 3 on Switch 2 and it plays great compared to the Switch,
I will go back to Bayonetta 2 at some stage and try that as well as it was my favourite in the series.
I hear Darksiders 3 and Rush Rally 3 are running much better also.

I'm going to try Hyrule Warriors : Age of Calamity later on today to see if it runs better than the 10-20 fps on OG Switch !

I need to pick up a pro controller once stock starts returning.

One of my favourite racing games is Burnout Paradise, was disappointed by the resolution on Switch or at least it always felt low, I know chances are probably zero but would love a performance patch to sharpen it up.

I've been playing Fantasy Life and love the relative simplicity of it.
@xaldub does the camera bother you in it? I feel it's far too zoomed in, but I just saw today that they're doing an update in a couple of weeks that will extend the camera range view

Is it wise to ignore the switch 2 specific zelda game and just buy the switch 1 copy and an upgrade code for cheaper?
