Of course they didn’t, and I never said they did. Interest doesn’t equate to offers. Supposedly there were approaches and he rejected them in favour of United.

It’s been rumoured to be anything from 140k-250k, you as one of the transfer maestros should know to take these things with a pinch of salt.

Think your mixing me up with piggy, the general consensus from those in high up places, was his wage demands were at least £200k a week, which would have counted NUFC out right away, our highest paid player is Bruno on £160k a week, soon to be replaced by Isak’s £200k, we were never going to smash our wage structure for him.

I know you want to feel like you have pulled off a coup by getting him over other team, but the fact of the matter is you were the only ones willing to pay more.

I always see you both as transfer people (foreign language X or not ;) )

And good answer regarding wages too.

However I don’t feel like we’ve pulled off a coup, it’s just the usual Utd pull that we still have (thankfully!) and for all I know it really could go belly up. But I just find properly unsubstantiated rumours to drive clicks annoying.

(Besides the Ange to Arsenal one, that one can keep on growing :cry: )

sesko has always been our number one target we wanted him last year

He turned down Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Man City, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern, Barcelona and Real Madrid to join Man Utd, what makes people think he'd go to Spurs!
