Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

The trouble with using last seasons numbers is that they are a massive outlier, his xg was his usual (13ish) he just scored an insane amount. He won't do that again

The fact they've lost their manager might have had an impact though.
Ideally we get a bidding war going. Drive his price up north of £70m.

We then have the option of keeping or selling Wissa. The clubs mantra is "buy early, sell late" so if anyone wants to buy Mbuemo now whilst we're still in June they'll likely have to pay a fair whack.

Whilst it's not quite the same figures involved, I expect this window to be similar to Brighton's a couple of years back. Losing but then being able to replace a management and backroom staff, combined with a sizeable transfer budget having just sold your top talent... it's not the worst place to find yourself.

He'll end up at man utd, spurs are tighter than a ducks ********

He is not worth that amount of money. 70 million is stupid money for him. He has had one good season and is a massive risk if he cannot replicate it.

Cunha has had two good seasons at a very poor Wolves and that is still a big risk.

well well well! How the tables have turned.

What tables have turned? There is a difference between being able to afford someone (which we could easily do against Spurs) but overpaying for a player is just being stupid.

Do I think he is a good addition to United at 50ish million? Perhaps. At 70 million absolutely no.

Gyokeres scoring record is inflated, but it's inflated from great to incredible. The concerns about him aren't the penalties, it's whether he can do it in a big league.

Would rather Robertson stayed as back-up to Kerkez but sadly that's just because Tsimikas does my ****ing head in rather than because Roberton's still good enough. He's been a fantastic LB for us and when you consider the fee, one of the best signings of this generation and one of the few LB's we've had in modern history that hasn't made me want to kill them on a weekly basis but time has caught up on him.
