What PC games are you playing?

Went back to Satisfactory after playing Dune Awakening which is the worst game I think I've played in recent memory, absolute tripe.

Dull setting, no interest in the franchise so that didn't help. Everything just looks the same.

Horrid janky combat, really unsatisfying.

Some of the worst AI I've seen in a modern game.
Examples:
Enemies just walking right past me as if they couldn't see me.
One was running round in circles around my character and neither of us could use any actions.
Enemies can't see you when crouched behind a wall but as soon as you stand, they suddenly react even when they have their back to you.

Driving and climbing mechanics straight out of 2001.

Map full of 'ubisoft' icons with repeated stuff all over, same camps, same loot in camps.

I have a feeling it's a game where you have to be a fan of the franchise to excuse how bad the game is.

Thank you for your reply. I only played the game a few hours during the open beta and did find the combat a bit janky as well, but less then 3 hours game play is not enough to judge a game, so was curious about your view, so thanks again !
 
Just hit Chapter 7 on Dave The Diver! It’s been good - sometimes it feels like a bit of a slog… after playing some “Jimbos Game” I’m very interested in picking up Balatro!!

I saw it’s available on iOS!! That feels very dangerous indeed :D I’ll defo have to pick it up though - I spent the last couple of nights just playing “Jimbos Game” in Dave The Diver :D
 
Booted up WoW last night for the first time in about 18 years. Played Classic with a friend. It's actually really good, and the subscription of a tenner a month seems to be kind of what I remembered the rate was back then.

Doesn't apply to some countries, but here in the UK the sub fee has never increased which is really surprising. Of course they monetise in so many other ways now, but knowing the sub fee is such a stable price makes it more palatable.

I resubbed for the first time in about 2 1/2 years last night, not quite as long as you :D

Thats exactly what i got with my time in the open beta so i passed on the full game.

Haven't played in ages but I was addicted to this for a while several years back. It does get boring after you've created a half-decent base for yourself though, essentially becoming a bit of a farming sim. You need to have survived for many, many hours to get yourself to that point though.
