What PC games are you playing?

Dull setting, no interest in the franchise so that didn't help. Everything just looks the same.

Horrid janky combat, really unsatisfying.

Some of the worst AI I've seen in a modern game.
Examples:
Enemies just walking right past me as if they couldn't see me.
One was running round in circles around my character and neither of us could use any actions.
Enemies can't see you when crouched behind a wall but as soon as you stand, they suddenly react even when they have their back to you.

Driving and climbing mechanics straight out of 2001.

Map full of 'ubisoft' icons with repeated stuff all over, same camps, same loot in camps.

I have a feeling it's a game where you have to be a fan of the franchise to excuse how bad the game is.
Is it just a Dune themed re-skin of Star Wars: Outlaws?

Haven't played in ages but I was addicted to this for a while several years back. It does get boring after you've created a half-decent base for yourself though, essentially becoming a bit of a farming sim. You need to have survived for many, many hours to get yourself to that point though.

But for £16, it’s worth it?

It’s just a sandbox game that you mess around with right? And it’s very interactive in that sense.

Yeah you basically get dropped in a random location on the map with next to no gear and limited skills/knowledge. Your goal is to live as long as possible. There are no missions, no story. Just do your own thing to live as long as you can. (at least that was the case when I played it)

That's what I remember as well. It was fun for a while, I seem to recall very sparse resources.

Rematch - Hated it in beta, but finally had a chance to kind of get to grips with the controls and the mechanics of the game.

Would like the option to change camera perspective in future (or have it like rocket league) where the camera follows the ball a bit more, not sure if that is perhaps an option I haven't seen.

I recently replayed half life 2, and episode 1 and 2. I had forgotten how damned good that game was. Sure no ray tracing or anything like that. But it still looks good and just so engaging. Simple and fun and decent length too.

7 Days to Die --- really good game over the years.
Latest update... hmmmm not so sure it adds anything. Badges?! instead of some clothing to protect you.. weird choice - I guess you can always turn it off.

It always makes me wonder how a team can still be so passionate about a game after so long.....

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon - the first one from 2001. Its pretty hard, I forgot how hard it was - as soon as I show my head out I get a bullet from like 1km :)
