360 AiO for 9950x3d

I’m using the NZXT Kraken Elite 360 and I’ve used them in all previous builds without any issues. I wouldn’t touch any other NZXT product but the AIO is decent.

I've got a Corsair H150i RGB ELITE that I'm reusing from a 7800X3D that I previously had. I used Thermal Grizzly Duronaut when installing the new 9950X3D and the temps seem fine. Idle is around 42, and very heavy load I'm seeing 82-83. Here is a screenshot of the temps with MSFS 2024 running. I've not messed around with overclocking, the BIOS settings are all stock including EXPO.

I have used AF III on my Intel build for some time. Good cooler but do not like have to remove the socket retention bracket to fit their own, for my socket 1700 Intel build.
Corsair Nautilus is relatively new and seems to be quite well received, that I have noted so far.
Decent price and performance.

Yes, I have the Corsair Nautilus and is a good cooler.

yeah, fairly easy to put together though, but like you said if assistance is needed there is stuff online!

Indeed, not a problem really. But kinda disappointed as the motherboard I just bought had the flimsiest of sheets with it, in several languages. Not much about the front panel, where you plug the power switch, reset switch etc.

Do you use any software to control the pump etc and the lighting..?

Thanks

yeah, it is a bit annoying for mabye someones first time with an AIO.

I dont mate, all my fan settings I do in the BIOS, and I left the pump and fans on stock settings. I dont have any RGB on mine as I bought the "blacked out" version of the AIO.

You can use iCue software etc.. but I have a mate who has had a few PC issues he reckons might be related to the software. (Not 100% sure so take it with a pinch of salt).

Like you, I just ended up using the BIOS and selecting "silent" profiles for the AIO and system fans. That will do. Saves having another piece of software loaded.
Just need to sort out the aRGB and RGB stuff now, they are not playing ball, I'll just get used to rainbows, lol.
