McDonald’s general discussion

Anyone tried the big arch?
I'm sure I read somewhere it's supposed to be 50% more beef than a Big Mac. I'm sure I'll try at some point though not in a big hurry.

I do find a Big Mac a bit lacking in terms of beef, compared to some of the other fast food places.

Nah.. When you can buy this for the same price as a 'burger of dispair' meal from McDonald's...

And cook it in half the time it takes to get through the drive through!

As nice as that is, it’s not the same price. Your steak is £4-5 more expensive!

Guy sits in a car and eats an arch burger:

Big Arch is very decent but yeah not something you want to be eating on the regular.

*says the fella who ate a double quarter pounder with cheese alongside it

Nothing I just wont go back.

You need to complain with your wallet....or lack of in this case.
Rubbish. They won’t notice one person not going, but complaints have to be logged and responded to.

If people don’t complain about bad service, nothing will happen.

You could argue if they are still making money the won't care how many people complain.

It's principals though.

Sure they won't miss my custom, I understand that.

As a franchise and if away from the 'couldn't care area' I believe feedback would be beneficial to them and without that some would fail and perhaps see their demise, which I guess some would cheer and others might miss the jobs and training.

Every little step and all..

It's a British thing,
You could argue if they are still making money the won't care how many people complain.
The point is that you weren't happy with it but didn't say anything. Are you the kind of person who, when sitting in a restaurant with bad food just says 'Yes, very good' when the waitress asks you if you're enjoying your meal?

This is entirely the reason why things don't improve. If nobody complains at the time, crap service will just continue. It's all very well to post about it on the internet afterwards but the only way to fix this sort of thing is to grow a pair and actually complain at the time and if needed, follow it up officially afterwards.

I would send back positive feedback on this just delivered treat.
