Nvidia RTX 6000 series (codename Rubin)

I think I will wait for the full fat die on a Titan.

Could be a very long wait.

I think we all deserve another Titan.

I’ve still got a pair of originals, pair of Titan blacks and a pair of Maxwell Titan X’s. Good times.

Feel like for me, given how much I ended up shelling out on my 5090, I'll skip 6000 series and grab 7000 series in a few years. Quote me on this when I'm wobbling in 18 months time :D

I had pretty much same convo with a friend of a friend last year when he did a new PC build, he probably took it as me ******** on AMD but it wasn't, I was just being brutally honest in fact that at launch I wouldn't pick AMD for last 2 gens now, DLSS is just way too good (especially at 4K) to ignore when the prices are so similar, however like i said to him at the current prices (then) I wouldn't pick Nvidia because why would I accept less vram and raw FPS for a good chunk more money
I'd pick a £690 5070ti over a £620 9070XT every time. I hate upscaling tech as I'm obsessed with image quality but slower card with fewer features for £50-70 less isn't a compelling proposition. I don't understand how AMD with an msrp of $600 translates to £620 or more usually £650+ whereas a 5070ti with msrp of $750 translates to £690 or more usually £730+. One is available at around its msrp whereas one is £50 more. 9070XT should be £100 cheaper than 5070ti. Looking forward to the 6090 though it should be a monster.

I'm not looking forward too it in 1 way cause I half expect 6000 series to be a repeat of 5000 series and it'll make me regret sending my 5090 back lol

Jensen announces TSMC has taped out six new Nvidia chips based on Rubin architecture and Jensen is visiting TSMC to inspect the these next generation chips. Jensen also said buying TSMC shares is smart

If Intel are sensible they'll release a full-fat Xe3 chip for £1k and make a mint. Of course this is Intel...

followed by consumer parts in the 2nd half of 2026

That's allmost certainly not going to happen given the refreshed 5xxxx 'supers' yet to be released and little competition to worry about.

I wouldn't suggest March to May 2027 would be more likely (maybe Computex at the later end of that timeframe). NVIDIA will want to make their serious money selling the 'professional' cards to businesses for ££££'s first before the consumer peasants, now just an afterthought, get a look in.

Nvidia launched refreshed RTX 40 SUPER in January 2024 and they planned to launched RTX 50 in November 2024 when RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 entered volume production but they changed their mind to delayed RTX 50 launch to January 2025.

I dont know if Nvidia will launch RTX 50 SUPER refresh later in 2025, I guess they will launch in January 2026 and maybe they will launch next generation RTX 60 later in 2026.
