Yeah same. From what I have read it can be played solo, but it was more geared towards coop.

I bought a Dreamcast just to play Resident Evil Code Veronica when it was a Dreamcast exclusive, then I bought a Gamecube to play RE1 remake and RE0 when they were exclusive to that. 3 very expensive games, but I can't be mad as all 3 were great and REmake and CV remain two of my favourite games of all time.
 
Gotta say, rendering PS2 games at 4K with 16xAF and various other enhancements has given a new lease of visual life to such an old game:

Tank controls tho take some getting used to lol.

Certainly looks like it's a complete ruin after it got bombed in RE3.

Tempted to pick up 7 & village up while they’re on offer on Steam. Tried 7 ages ago and didn’t really have time to play it, never tried village bar the demo. Also wonder if 9 will link in some way to those 2 games.
 
The girl in 9 is the daughter of someone in Outbreak so there is a tie-in it seems to earlier game(s).

Village is great, especially if you like abnormally tall and exceptionally buxom ladies.
Hell, it’s worth the price alone.
 
I've still not finished Resident Evil 4, I ended up losing interest in it half way through. I have Village too but it's another that feels really far removed from the first 2 games that I really enjoyed.

Funnily enough guys, I recently just completed CVX, finally, I got annoyed with the plane the last 2 times and went back and replayed it, all nicely upscaled, it was glorious and definitely is one of the best, I've been clucking for a remake for years despite not finishing it, such a good game, and the true real 3rd game, but due to SEGA and legal issues it was renamed - as I'm sure both of you know ;)
 
Whats the chance this will get a PSVR2 option like Village and RE4 remake? I enjoyed so much Village on the VR i struggled to play the expansion on 2d.
The controls on the VR where so immersive, and loved that it was an actual game and not the usual tech demo style games you get on VR.
