What PC games are you playing?

I tried some of the jrpgs - Sea of Stars - but after loooong introduction and training, I decded i think I'll drop it - it really feels childish game - repetitive, simple. Dont get me wrong, it looks beautiful, colorful and pixel art is amazing - which was my first thing that pulled me in. But gamplay is kinda simple and boring that I cannot keep going. Storyline is also simple and boring, nothing special.

What are your opinion guys on that game?

Just picked up Brotato, seems to be a fairly perfect title for the pickup and play for 15 minutes on the steamdeck!
For me those games are not so interesting - just hordes of enemies surrounding you and you keep looting new weapons to fight them. What was the other game that was so popular last year like that? Character had swords etc

I can understand that completely but similar to vampire survivors, it has the short gameplay loop, roguelike 'run upgrades' combined with the 'gems go ping = dopamine' thing. Very much gaming fast food but not everything needs to be super deep!

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon - the first one from 2001. Its pretty hard, I forgot how hard it was - as soon as I show my head out I get a bullet from like 1km :)
That IS the one with the forest map right? Loads of sneaky sneaky and then dying many times
And there was quite a good city map as well if I remember correctly? I never finished it, but it was great. I absolutely loved Rogue Spear and the OG first game too!

I've been enjoying the Outer Worlds. It reminds me a little bit of Fallout which might be why.

Visually, I often find myself running about to appreciate the environment and prop design.

On my R36S I've been going back to the original Super Mario and Megaman. Feels very nostalgic!

Well, it depends - you mentioned Rogue Spear, which was Rainbow Six series (my favourite, LOVED it :)) - this one is Ghost Recon, first from the series.
But yes, it starts in a forest, then you have different maps. AI does head shot from 10km, even at night at dark :)

I got Outer Worlds in a Steam sale a couple of years ago and also enjoyed it. Not the deepest character development or most involved story I’ve ever seen, but good shooty fun in a Fallout/Borderlands game universe.

Finally getting around to playing TLoU 2, trying to enjoy it on it's own merits without all of the angst that was around when it came out.

Just started Battle Brothers this evening after picking it up a while back.

I escorted a caravan to a town and the caravan master regaled me with a story of how he almost died in a caravan attack followed by "You nod as if you give two ***** what's happened to this man."

Made me laugh. So far I haven't gotten everybody killed, but I am only on beginner difficulty. I am playing on ironman mode though...

Ghost Recon 1 definitely mate, I remember those 10km head shots on that forest map
Yeah Rogue Spear was incredible for it's time! I love the map where you start off on the roof of a building and work your way down without being caught. And that plane level offt!

Rematch - Hated it in beta, but finally had a chance to kind of get to grips with the controls and the mechanics of the game.

Would like the option to change camera perspective in future (or have it like rocket league) where the camera follows the ball a bit more, not sure if that is perhaps an option I haven't seen.
Trying to get to grips with this myself, the skill ceiling wont be as high as rocket league but I think that there will need to be a few more tweaks in later updates

just finished the 2 campaigns on tempest rising, it was awesome fun, good old fake command and conquer with lots of quality of life improvements and got high on life to play as well got it for 1,55 on cdkeys a while back and the little i have played of it is very fun and amusing :)
