Some gimp near me is having a party. They’ve thankfully switched off the amplified music but now they’re bellowing some songs instead.A hot sunny day (by lunchtime anyway) so obviously our neighbours decided to start a bonfire early in the evening and force everyone in the vicinity to close their windows for hours (still going now)!

Doesn't bother me if it is a one off - I've lived places where people will do it until 2-3am night after night if the weather is nice and that is just taking the mick.

The sun gods are definitely favouring us this year!

They knocked it off at midnight thankfully, although I do think it’s a bit selfish with young kids in the street.

Whilst it is lovely weather where I am in rural East Yorkshire, its almost intolerable to be out in as the thunderbugs are out in force, millions of them, covering every exposed surface imaginable. Its horrendous.
My problem is I get bitten a lot due to my very sweet or is that sweaty nature

They aren't the kind of bugs that bite, way too small for that, vut they crawl all over you and your clothes. If you wipe them off your face you basically end up smearing tens of their dead corpses over your skin.

Our AC in this rental seems rubbish. I have various temp sensors for home assistant and even on full blast the room isn’t dropping below 27c. My office is showing 31c most days which is getting unpleasant.
Might just be the poor insulation.
