Am I right in thinking that the 5090 doesn't run cool like the 4090 did? Or was that only the 4090 FE that did that? Or am I completely wrong in all statements

TBH it depends on the game. 420w overclocked in Fortnite, but nearing 550w sustained on FS 2024. Runs cool, but is a space heater.

Nice! We're still under 4Kwh for the house AC, although only 2 rooms and not a huge house. But bedroom is kept at 18ºC and living room at 20ºC, utter bliss.

2Kwh on my AC in the cabin, my server lives in there so keep it at 21-22ºC while I'm not in there to prevent anything from cooking.

Edit: On top of that, Octopus Agile has been 10-15p/Kwh most of the day so it's cost very little to run.

I did a load of garden work this morning then went to put 4 38x28 ft marquees up at Leicester grammar school. Now sat in the main TV room that is 32c. Reckon I'm sweating more now than during work.

Same tomorrow, garden all day and the taking marquees down at 5pm and the rest of the week too.

Weather is great for it but also not so great. Really need some rain soon, tough going currently with both jobs. Trying to hit 3ft stakes into the rock hard ground with a sledgehammer isn't much fun.

I used to stay up late at night. Sometimes I still do, but I tend to call it a night around half10/11 most nights. The Mrs likes to moan if I'm up too late.
The other night I tried sneaking in at 1am, yep she noticed.

Sitting in front of the PC in boxers at the moment with fan on full blast. Its still 29-30 degrees in here I've got windows open all through the house but there isnt any breeze to blow through cooler air... I ******* hate this, nice weather is great when you can escape it. Good thing is its supposed to be at least 10 degrees cooler tomorrow even got a good chance of rain
