What PC games are you playing?

Just unlocked Jokerless challenge in Balatro, the last few challenges I can't seem to crack for some reason. Some 'difficult' ones I have had no problem with as I have gotten good synergy pretty early.

Just finished Expedition 33 - loved it, great story and characters, although some of the optional bosses were ridiculously difficult.

Now starting something completely different - ICBM Escalation for my armchair General/strategy fix!

I think I saw this, as in the OG Windows 95 top down'ish game? I played some of the second one and loved it!
Yeah, this is the remake of that.

It is a fun little game, not a patch on the original, but still worth a play through. My biggest gripe with it is that some of the characters are pretty shallow, whereas as others are just OP (marine!).

I'll be interested to see what they do if they make a sequel though.

I might check it out, I think I did spot it awhile ago on Steam but forgot, for me I'd have to wait until the sequel as that's the one I played, so then the nostalgia would be great for a remake :)

Currently playing Kathy Rain 2: Soothsayer. It's taken a little while to get into, but now that it's got going, I'm loving it.

Just finished Animal Well. Really good metroidvania game with really nice gfx style. Haven't collected all the eggs or had the different ending. Will come back to it.
Currently playing Stellar Blade. Really liking it and guess I'm about 3/4 way through. Not on the level of black myth wukong, or even God of war but still worth a play.
Next up is Indiana Jones walking simulator :D played the first level on release, but had other games I preferred at the time and knew I would get a new gfx card in ear cuture. Now I'm settled with the 5090 I'll play it for my gfx fix, test out some MFG etc

Started The First Bezerker:Khazan, I initially enjoyed it but the huge health boss battles turned it into a bit of a chore.. I've dropped it for now but may come back to it.

Since then i've just been playing Balatro :p

I think we need regular public service announcements to all non-From Software parties developing Soulslikes, on the lines of "your bosses have too much health".

With a decent build, you can actually nuke most From Software bosses down quite quickly. The trick is not dying before they do. A lot of other developers who pick up the genre seem to just go for the "huge health bar" alternative.

Just started Len's Island, as I wanted something cosy to be playing and so far it's been alright. Missing some Quality of Life stuff but maybe that comes later as I level up, guess I find out as I play along ! :p

It's a shame, as the combat/parry mechanics are actually well done, just the bosses become grindy and tedious rather than fun, it's the only thing letting it down.

Sekiro is still my all time fav though it's not quite that level.

About 3/4's of the way through replaying Silent Hill 2 Remake again, still excellent, especially with the chainsaw, yes I know stutters/UE5, but it is what it is, and the story/graphics/gameplay outweigh my care for letting UE5 stutters wind me up - I also didn't pay full price for any of my UE5 games, so there's that too ;) :p :D

How did you find the second film? I actually really liked the first one, but the second one I lost interest during it.
I'm not watching the 2nd film there's no point for me. I couldn't even finish the 1st one and believe me I tried. I usually love sci fi and I could count on 1 hand the amount of films I've not seen through to the end.... but this one...my word is it achingly dull. I just had to accept it wasn't for me.
