I saw him taking wickets online yesterday. He's more mobile than Ben Stokes which isn’t hard these days.

From BBC gossip page - Newcastle are looking at Grealish, Guehi and DCL. DCL has actually made 59 premier league appearances in last two seasons which surprised me when I looked it up. I suppose he's pretty much an upgrade on Calum Wilson but not by much, he's not selling season tickets and there certainly won't be a queue of kids getting his name on their shirts. Progress, as such.
 
Not happy with DLC but we do need a body in there. All about wages probably. Can’t see us paying his wage demands since he’s a free agent. Unless we plan to sell him in January like Kelly hah

I know at times he’s gets a lot of **** but he is a PL quality CM. We are pretty short in that position also so will need a replacement.

What are the wage demands of a forward with a record like his? He's limping out of Everton after trying and failing to find another club in the last 12 months, he's not strutting out of Real Madrid with a bag full of medals.

Willock up for sale also!! This could be quite the transformation window. Lower over age with loads of options on the bench and sellable assets across the board for future business when required.

Hah just a little bit excited. First signing in 3 windows that’s goes straight into the starting line up. You probably can’t asked for a more Eddie Howe type player.

Great output and only 23 can only improve under Eddie. Also doesn’t seem a bad outlay for his output. Should also help towards the home grown requirement for Champions league.

We’ve probably got in at the right time now as any club looking to do business with Forest now are going to have to pay well over the odds!!

Solid pro. The fact he’s willing to move to ensure the club get money and not just see out his current deal and get a bigger wage packet says it all. He just didn’t stand a chance when we signed Sandro.

We lose a club trained player tho for Champion league :/

It usually cheers me up reading Bigpigs posts. Newcastle could sell Isak tomorrow for £20 and he would be extolling the virtues of being able to put that £20 towards a kebab to share with the rest of the team to keep morale at the club high. And anyway, we have a player no one has heard of who will replace his goals. Life is good as a Newcastle fanatic :p
 
Palace could well end up in the conference rather than europa league tho, if they do end up in Europe I can't see them dropping his price that much
